Vice President Kamala Harris opened up a marginal two-percentage-point lead over Republican Donald Trump after President Joe Biden ended his re-election campaign and passed the torch to her, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.
The poll, conducted on Monday and Tuesday, followed both the Republican National Convention where Trump on Thursday formally accepted his party's nomination and the Biden announcement on Sunday he was leaving the race and endorsing Harris.
Harris, whose campaign says she has secured the Democratic nomination, led Trump 44% to 42% in the national poll, a difference within the 3-percentage-point margin of error.
Harris and Trump were tied at 44% in a July 15-16 poll, and Trump led by one percentage point in a July 1-2 poll, both within the same margin of error. ***
The most recent poll showed 56% of registered voters agreed with a statement that Harris, 59, was "mentally sharp and able to deal with challenges," compared to 49% who said the same of Trump, 78.

during a time in which the average of all polls was

So this is fairly in line with their previous polling with Harris maybe picking up a little support nationally.
First of all, we don’t elect presidents nationally. So Harris running up the numbers in California will pad her national poll numbers a little bit, but wont effect the electoral college one iota.
Second of all, this particular firm was way out of line with all other pollsters to begin with. I am not not one of those people (like most liberals) who only like polls when they show my candidate winning. But it is important to look how a pollster compares to the “average” to see if they are way out of line “consistently”. Now even if they are out of line “consistently” even then, I wouldn’t ignore them, I would simple compare them only to themselves (to previous polls) to see movement.
In this case we don’t have any data to compare with only past data of Biden vs Trump from this polling firm. But I can extrapolate from those polls and say that this result is fairly consistent with their previous polls and really shows no real movement in the race. Which has been the case all year.
So Trump was winning before, Trump is still winning now. Averages matter and not individual polls. And only polls of the swing states matter and not national polls.

Polls are not to report opinion, but to shape opinion.
Expect these polls, especially the left-wing polls (Reuters, Wash Post, NT Times, Gallup, Fox [yes, Fox], etc.) to show a Harris surge to depress Trump voters and get democrats stirred up.
Trump leads Harris by 19 points in ages 18 through 34, according to a recent Quinnipiac poll.
Well I thought (as of a week ago) the one thing Americans agreed on was she is a cackling idiot.
So, whoever they are picking for this poll are the same type who wear masks in their car. They’d say the sky is green if told it was.

All future polls will show Kamala within the margin of error in order to cover for the 2024 Steal.

Reuters-Ipsos is as bad as you get. We don’t believe Reuters. Why believe their polls?
This will be easy for Harris to achieve because they turning up the fraud machine to full blast. And they spent the last 4 years heavily perfecting it. They learned from their mistakes.
