Is he saying he won’t consider that the SS could have cooperated with the assassin? The language is unclear.
This reminded me of the scene in the movie Serpico in which Al Pacino plays an honest cop, much to the anger of his colleagues. While on a drug raid, the dishonest cops on his detail turn their heads when the drug dealer attacls him. I’ll be generous, and assume this was just total incompetence on the part of poorly trained people who should never have been hired in the first place. Trump needs private security guards to be provided by a professional like Erik Prince.

You could say that if they had not spotted him but they did spot him. They let 20 minutes pass after they saw a man with a rifle on roof with clear line of sight and they let him shoot. That is not a case of inadequate resources it is something much worse.
Yep, definitely looking like that now. The shooter was spotted well before he ever got up on the roof - there is video of him casing the joint. There is no excuse for Crooks not being detained/arrested before Trump ever hit the stage.

While standing in line to enter an event at the RNC today, I was assaulted by what appeared to be a member of the pro-Hamas group CODEPINK. A nearby police officer witnessed this assault and I understand they have been arrested.
This appears to be an incident of political violence and I will never tolerate this. Regardless of the severity of the violence, political violence is political violence.
Republicans have been intimidated and targeted for years including the attempted assassination of President Trump and we will no longer standby and allow lawlessness.
There is no place for political violence in this country and I have repeatedly called for people who choose this path to be prosecuted to the greatest extent of the law.
Nothing will change until these people are held accountable.

Someone around here posted a close-up blowup pic of Trump and his detail, and they focused on the lapel pins of those personal detail ‘agents’.
They stated it resembled the US Marshal pin, not SS..
I don’t have a familiarity with either pin, but if Trump’s closest personal detail are wearing US Marshal pins, that’s a tell that SS may be extremely compromised..
