The Left got too comfortable with the vitriol and kept raising the temp to the point of accepting an assassination. The Left is truly #ed in the head.

Actually Dennis Prager got me thinking that way. His point was that as a Jew, Prager would have at least attempted to kill Hitler, had he been in Germany then and knew what Hitler was going to do.
His point was that that the Trump shooter was PERFECTLY SANE, in that he was being told how much of a threat that Trump is, by the TOP LEADERS in the US.
Just compelling and instructive as Henry II’s remark regarding Thomas Becket, “Will no one rid me of this meddlesome priest.”
And Biden followed up by providing Trump with Secret Service protection at the Pennsylvania rally that was as good as a screen door on a submarine. No wonder Biden wants people to “tone down the discussion” now.

Actually your second sentence contradicts your first sentence. If no one is willing to stop the Left when the ‘test the waters’ (like with Kathy Griffin), why not take it all the way? It’s perfectly logical to me, at least.
Biden has no problem with Trump being shot. He is unhappy because Trump wasn’t killed.
He doesn’t. The fake outrage is someone else’s idea, and we know Joe likes other peoples ideas.

It goes back to the old addage, “If you are going to kill the King, you better kill the King.” They missed, now they have to throw it into reverse double-quick.
But make no mistake, the assassination attempt was engineered by the democrats, not directly but by deliberate, calculated Stochastic Terrorism. Remember in Philadelphia, Biden declared “a clear and present danger,” a term of art.

Since I have a “JR” on this thread (a first!), I’ll answer my question.
If Biden (or whoever is acting as Biden) is asked my question, their likely answer, regardless of what the person really thinks, will be:
“Oh, it was just a METAPHOR. What it really means is: “Please go out and vote, and also help register as many new voters as possible. We never intended any violence.”
The reason that the Democrats need to be SHUT DOWN is because they knew full well that the words Biden used would be used by people, who knows how many, to do whatever they they were capable of doing to take down Trump (with Saturday being just the first example).
That is the reason why politicians knew to NEVER use those words, regardless of what they, themselves, thought. And that is why the Democrats cannot be allowed to participate in this country as a political entity anymore.
