đ¨#BREAKING: Donald Trump confirmed via Truth Social that a bullet pierced the upper part of his right ear. A photo taken by a photographer shows the bullet flying towards Trump.

Should be noted since Trumpâs hand is already at his ear, this was a follow on shot after he had already been struck.

I believe this is the bullet after it went through his ear.
He said he heard whizzing (or something) then felt pain. The noise would be the bullet passing by his ear. He would not hear the shot itself, bullet is faster than sound.
It takes time for the ear pain to register, and for Trump to react and put up his hand.
The new cameras (like the Nikon Z9) shoot at incredible speed. The could shoot at about 100 frames a second. And with their light sensitivity, they can shoot at very high speeds continuously. And if they were shooting in video mode they could go in and âliftâ out a frame for a photograph.
Three years ago they couldnât catch this image.
(It also shows how damned fast that bullet was moving.)
I am very ticked off that the Secret Service not only failed to cover the rooftops, but also IGNORED by-standers POINTING AT THE SHOOTER AND SHOUTING, and then only killed him, dead, (not merely dead, but really most sincerely dead) after he fired several shots.
It stinks.

The eyewitness made the excellent point that they didn’t even have to “neutralize” the perp in advance. He was more surprised/disappointed that they didn’t get Trump out of harm’s way immediately.
