During an interview with ABC News on Friday, President Joe Biden said that he realized he was doing poorly in last week’s presidential debate when he noticed that “even when I was answering a question, even though they turned his mic off,” his opponent, 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump, “was still shouting. And I let it distract me.” Biden elaborated that he isn’t blaming that for his performance, but that caused him to realize “that I just wasn’t in control.”
ABC host George Stephanopoulos asked, “And how quickly did it come to you that you were having that bad night?”

They showed him side by side and he was silent the entire time.
Yes it has been stunning to see the turnaround in the media.
Starting the night of the debate , after the debate, all anyone on cable news channels could talk about was how poorly Biden did. Even that night , some were speculating as to whether he could continue his campaign.
It sure says a lot when the propagandists in the media are not supportive of the presumptive Democrat candidate.
Yes that occurred to me too. In the 2020 debate Trump talked over Biden a few times, and maybe Biden is thinking of that. Maybe everything just gets conflated in his mind as to whether something just happened yesterday or if it happened years ago.
Took his team a week to come up with that one.
So, what will the next WHOPPER of the weekend be?
From my experience with dementia patients (father-in-law and my wife’s aunt) I habe noticed that they csn get confused and agitated by an overload of stimulation. My father-in-law would get agitated by some kinds of TV shows. My mother-in-law liked to watch game shows and I noticed that on many of the shows, the camera shot changes every second. Those were not good for the old man. By contrast, in the Alzheimer’s facility where my wife’s aunt stayed, they always had old, slow-paced TV shows and movies that didn’t have that constant change of camera shot.
Maybe that’s what Biden experienced in the debate.
I expect Lindsey Graham to step in and save the democrats any day now.
“I got distracted by the thing”
He was drugged up and still fell apart. The next debate will happen during the day I suspect.
Joliet Joe Biden!
My wife and I both noticed how composed Trump was. He was letting Biden speak and wasn’t shouting over him.The excuses are getting more and more desperate.
If Biden continues to stick around he will publicly display the next stage of dementia—paranoia.
“Reptilian aliens tampered with my brain during the debate. They are leading a conspiracy against me so they can take over the country. They are shapeshifters and could be anyone anywhere. You might even be one.”
:-)
Donald Trump distracted him with telepathic messages that he transmitted every time Biden spoke. He also used telekinesis to force Biden’s mouth to gape open and his eyes to vacantly stare off into space.
Simply not true, the shout was the voices in your head Joe.
Joe needs 4 fried chickens and a Coke!
[Joliet Joe Biden!]
Joliet Joke Biden!
Trump didn’t lie at all....but PEDO JOE DID !
The reason Biden was thrown off by Trump talking is because Trump’s words were interfering with the info his team was pumping into the earpiece in Biden’s right ear. The crosstalk was throwing Biden off. He can’t admit what really happened. It would have been funny if the had said, “Shut up! I can’t hear what they are telling me!”
Has he started fidgeting with a set of ball bearings or ranting about the strawberries recently?
Probably the guy in the earpiece trying to aggressively coach him. Remember when he kept fiddling with his right ear?
Biden was making snorting noises in his 2012 debate with Eddie Munster! Listen to the soundtrack!
Karma.
