Trump challenges Biden to ‘no holds barred’ presidential debate: ‘Prove his competence or lack thereof’

Former President Donald Trump challenged President Biden to another presidential debate — this time with fewer rules and no moderators — where Biden can prove his “competence or lack thereof.”

The 78-year-old presumptive GOP presidential nominee called for the “no holds barred” debate in a post on Truth Social Thursday afternoon, a week after Biden’s first debacle.

“I have the answer to the Crooked Joe Biden Incompetence Puzzle — Let’s do another Debate, but this time, no holds barred,” Trump said in a post. “An all-on discussion, with just the two of us on stage, talking about the future of our Country.”

Trump suggested the proposed debate’s ratings would “blow everything away,” over the new format even after the first debate, hosted by CNN, reeled in 47.9 million viewers.

The proposed new rules would be a back-and-forth affair between the two political rivals, a drastic change from the ones they had agreed to a week prior, which was co-moderated by CNN hosts Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.

During the first debate, each candidate only had 2 minutes per answer, followed by one minute of rebuttals and their microphones were turned off when they ran out of time, or while the other was speaking.

Trump, 78, claimed his format would allow Biden, 81, to explain the many policies he has enacted during his first term have been seen as bad for the American people.

“Let Joe explain why he wants Open Borders, with millions of people, and many violent criminals from parts unknown, pouring into our once great Nation, or why he wants Men Playing in Women’s Sports,” Trump said.

Pro Wraslin’ hype! Let’s have a steel cage debate! Pre-fight hype speeches. Hell, let’s just have some wraslin’. This debating stuff is boring, anyway.

It will be really sickening when these people, who are so smart they are surprised to discover Biden is an artichoke, start lapping at the heels of their next hero. Be it Whitmer, Newsome or Blewsome.

Sycophantic worships of politicians is sickening.

I think PDJT needs to stop while he’s ahead. There’s a line he could cross over to apparent bully status. Nobody likes a bully.

Some Dems are still In denial. Trump needs to tread lightly. They call DJT a liar the emphasis should be the Big Lie of Joes condition.
Joes says “ I know how to tell the truth” DJT. “No you don’t. You have held office under false pretenses “

The bimbos and pretentious 'men' of MSNBC, the MSM, DNC AND CNN would never allow a real debate between Trump and Biden. The reason they allowed the first debate - and even hyped it - was because they thought they would win. Wusses, liars and cheats - that defines democrats and always will.

Didn’t the first debate seal the deal already?

He’s challenging and expecting him to back down. What will probably happen is he’ll come to a second debate, and attempt to completely flip the script and partially succeed, and then the suck-up media will treat him as if he were a conquering hero, when in fact he just didn’t totally suck.

Remember the two Reagan-Mondale debates. The first was disastrous for Reagan. The second, he came out swinging with “I won’t hold my opponent’s youth and relative inexperience against him.” Brandon will try to emulate that in a second debate, and fail, but not miserably. He’ll beat the point spread without winning the game.

Because that’s how champions think. Remember Jordan coming back to the NBA after having the “perfect” exit? Also Trump wants to win the Presidency and have a mandate. Trump seems to believe in what everyone else only prwtends to believe in, Democracy and the American citizen. I personally would not have done the first one in the way he did eithwr. Also, this could help to keep Biden in or at least in the thinking phase. Need to get him to thr convention.

He’s being smart here. He’s challenging Biden to an open-format debate on the issues where Biden polls extremely poorly.

Attacking a feeble old retardate is “bullying,” but attacking a feeble old retardate whose agenda is destroying this country is exactly what a political candidate should be doing.

Personally, I agree with you 100%. But I’m thinking of those low-IQ, mostly female, people who have sympathy for the underdog. They don’t care about the country too much when their FEELINGS overtake their thinking.

The disastrous debate performance also shows how Biden has some very powerful backers. They are determined to keep him in place. Politics is competitive and ruthless, usually anyone performing so badly would lose their place.

Biden’s ‘stiff gait’ now makes it hard for his 6 (or is it 8?) handicap to affect his golf score, so that challenge has been avoided.

No holds barred steel cage match would better serve the republic. The Biden Crime Family and their enablers need to go.

Trump has gotten all he can get out of Biden’s senility. Before the Democrats switch candidates, he needs to resume talking about his many great issues (immigration, the economy, the war on merit, the sexual mutilation of children, etc.).
