The polling memo from Open Labs, leaked to Puck News, showed how President Biden’s support was sliding following his panic-inducing debate performance Thursday.
The poll also showed Biden’s vote share falling in every important swing state, with Trump holding a roughly 7-point lead in both Michigan and Pennsylvania. And it noted that Democrats other than Biden were outperforming the president in a horse race against Trump.
“However, the poll that really shook Democrats in their boots came from Open Labs, a highly respected Democratic polling operation that works with campaigns and Super PACs,” said Pfeiffer, also a co-host of the popular progressive podcast “Pod Save America.”
“Look, this is just one poll and polling can be very noisy in the aftermath of a major event like the debate,” Pfeiffer wrote. “But it’s hard to find an outfit more respected in Democratic circles, so folks are taking this one very seriously.

Don’t count on Michigan with all the fraud going to be in place and especially the two new house bills that will make it hard to due recounts unless jumping through hoops.

Look at the column “pre-debate.” This outfit had the Rats behind in all the so-called battleground states before the debate. Also losing by a small margin in New Hampshire.
With the debate, they went from bad to worse.
The stuff we’ve been getting from the R pollsters, showing us doing very well, is corroborated. The real internal polls of the parties are the true polls. The public polls of the major media aren’t as accurate. They’re as much for entertainment as for information.
I noticed that Bloomberg stopped publishing battleground state polls a couple months ago. They weren’t as entertaining as they had been.
I’ll close with the following observation: part of Biden’s poor performance in the debate was that the guy knew he was behind in the polls. Biden’s not the tough guy he thinks he is. He cracked.

Whistling past the graveyard
In theory, polls should all produce the same result. In theory.
I have had a small hand in producing polls in the past. We had a rather defined group to poll, with very specific topics. I became very aware of how the phrasing of the question could affect the answer. We wanted the truth, so it was important to ask in a proper way.
We paid for an honest poll and were given one.
Today’s pollsters are mostly political hacks who will provide the answer they are paid for. They cannot only stack the questions, they can maneuver the random polling group by using certain area codes and times of day to call. They also weigh the results ( 50%D- 30%R-20%I). Any result is doable.
Polls, to me, are as reliable as fact checkers.
Dr Jill is shielding Joe from the negativity. Hunter needs his daddy to keep going or a whole lot of Bidens are headed to the slammer. I don’t think the Biden clan has a lot of love for the democrat party or the Obamas. They don’t care about the future of the party, just their own bank accounts.
I have no sympathy for anyone on that side. Their trickery and shenanigans are digging their grave.
It will be comforting to watch the dem party get torn apart by the very groups it created.

Whitmer will be the strongest according to this. A late entry by Whitmer will allow her to cruise to an easy victory riding the honeymoon wave with almost no time for scrutiny.

This really wasn’t a debate. It was more of a debacle, in the true sense of the word.
Just the name “Whitmer” makes me think of only one thing, the blue dress and a belly button. That was weird. Didn’t she have any idea what a bad look that was?
The people whose votes will make a difference don’t know and don’t care. She will crush Trump in Michigan like a can of beer.
