In the wake of Joe Biden's debate implosion, there's a lot of panic going on in the Democratic Party.
CNN's John King encapsulated it on Thursday night:
"Very aggressive panic," he termed it.
In the immediate wake of the debate, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke with Ben Ferguson on their podcast, "The Verdict," about the debacle.
As Rebecca Downs at our sister site Townhall reported:
Cruz agreed with King that "Joe Biden did unbelievably badly, that the degree of dementia he is facing right now, it has escalated to a point that it is unrecognizable," adding "I think there are a great many Democrats who are looking at this saying 'we cannot nominate this man, he is not capable, he doesn't know what's going on.'"
Cruz thought former President Donald Trump did very well and let Biden "hang himself."
Trump was also "restrained, even as Biden was saying ridiculous things. He was restrained, he was calm, he was matter of fact; he prosecuted the case. And Biden couldn't handle it. Biden repeatedly was screaming, 'you're a liar, you're lying!'"
While Trump was restrained, Biden couldn't stop going off and screaming about Trump being a liar. That didn't go over well; it looked freaky and desperate.
Cruz pointed out the terrible numbers for Kamala Harris; he said they'd lose if they made her the nominee, but they face a dilemma if they try to push her to the side for someone like California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Cruz spoke about the theory that Biden would be replaced. In the wake of the debate, he thinks the likelihood has skyrocketed from his prior prediction of a 50 percent chance.
The senator offered "I have to say we have just witnessed what I believe is the most consequential presidential debate in U.S. hi....

The American public is chronically distracted, and stupid. I fear Big Mike would win big.
If Michelle gets the nomination, she will win easily.
She is mostly an unknown on policy to the general public.
They can package her to be smooth and cool, like her husband....and she will need to be packaged because her mouth is her biggest liability.
Barack had the same problem when he was off teleprompter, but they controlled it for 8 years and the public mostly loved him.
How long has Joe Biden been incapable of running a coherent administration? At least 3.5 years, IMHO. Maybe much longer!
Big Mike has zero political experience. She will do worse than Kamala Harris. Harris is Demosthenes and Cicero combined in comparison. Big Mike has been sheltered and protected from the consequences of her own incompetence all her life. Her Princeton senior thesis is childish. No white person would have graduated with that tripe.
When people cater to you, and defer to your idiocy, idiocy becomes a habit.

That should be clearly understood.
Michelle has zero political ambition. She’s the opposite of Hillary Clinton.
Progressives literally don’t think as we do. For the Woke, identity politics is king.
You can only replace a (faux) Black woman with another Black woman.
A transgender of any race would also be a suitable substitute, but apparently Dylan Mulvaney and Rue Paul are unavailable, so Big Mike will have to do.

If the American public wasn’t distracted and stupid, they wouldn’t allow the deep state to steal our elections.
Except everyone who was close to Michelle says she hates politics and would not want the job. Look at her during the Obama years, she spent as much time away from DC as she could.
Which is why she is perfect. She is an unknown politically. She will be drafted to save the nation from the lying felon.
She will step up and say this is not a time for blacks or women to sit on the sidelines.
All of Trump's gains with black citizens and women will be erased overnight.
And add to that, if you really won the 2020 election fair and square with 81 million votes, as you say you did, why do you find it necessary to continually attack the man your 81 million voters supposedly rejected?
Nobody spent more time away from DC than Biden. The precedent has been set. She can travel where she wants and the current team runs things on her behalf.

I’m inclined to agree. People are leaving the Democrats not because of Biden but because they have no shepherd or “leader.” Biden is an empty suit, and it was on full display.
Put Big Mike in there, and suddenly, even if she’s another puppet, she’s a puppet who can speak coherently, and the sheeple will respond to that.
I just don’t see it happening. Also, Michelle hates the Bidens. She’s a good friend of Hunter Biden’s ex-wife.

Very easy to do.
1). Decline to debate Trump.
2). Flood the airways with emotionally driven “feel good” videos of Michelle and Barack.
3). Carefully scripted media “interviews” in which Michelle give scripted answers to prearranged and vetted softball questions.
4). Scripted and taped personal appearances on the View and the late night shows.
5). A few “public” campaign events to show her popularity with the people in carefully controlled arenas where invited spectators are bussed in.
If I were her publicist I’d put out a daily 5 minute max propaganda video on YouTube, Rumble, and TikTok, where Michelle pontificates on a current issue from a presidential perspective. The videos are designed to subliminally show her readiness for the job, her great intellect, and her incredible leadership skills. Call it “Michelle Speaks on the Issues”. Post it every day leading up to the election at the same time. Millions of Americans, particularly the youth will watch it everyday. With hidden teleprompters it can be staged to appear as though her remarks are off the cuff.
Well, Biden just spent 40% of his term on vacation, besides working 3 hours a day. Job doesn’t look too hard. Plus, media will ignore him, except to write glowing articles of anything Big Mike does.

At least a few Dems are quietly thinking “… and this is who is in charge of our nuclear arsenal”.
