The establishment media delivered a damning review of President Joe Biden’s Thursday debate performance.
Biden, who mumbled and sounded raspy, appeared to lose track of his thoughts a few times.
“I wish Biden would reflect on this debate performance and then announce his decision to withdraw from the race, throwing the choice of Democratic nominee to the convention,” New York Times’ columnist Nicholas Kristof posted on X.
CNN’s Kasie Hunt underscored the difference between Biden and former President Donald Trump.
“The voice, open-mouthed look, and visual contrast between President Biden and former President Trump all have Democrats I’m talking to nearly beside themselves watching this debate,” she said:
“Democrats need a new nominee,” associate editor of the Financial Times Edward Luce flatly said:
Seventy percent would have liked to see both Biden and Trump undergo drug testing before the debate, according to a DailyMail.com/TIPP survey.
Trump is the “expected winner” of the debate, but most say the results will not change their voting intent, a recent Economist found.
When asked which candidate is expected to win in November, Trump led Biden by ten points (48-38 percent), according to a Wednesday New York Times/Siena poll.

Results from this debate could be seismic. Besides the dims VERY likely to replace biden, this must have opened some ears to what was, for dims, esoteric info. Twitter is blowing up with folks just hearing for the first time about the abortion procedure of taking a life after nine months. They are like ‘Surely this is a lie. It would be barbaric.’ Yea. It would be.
The Democrats have no center left as they ousted them under Pelosi.

We need to start deep diving into their bad policies before that happens. Even if not this time, they may be pushed into the spotlight for next election cycle.

The wrong-ness is 99% his administration’s policies, 1% Biden the person.
You can’t avoid placing some of the blame for those policies on the voters that put this administration in place.
Senators and Congressmen also bear some of the blame.
I have no doubt that the Dems wanted Biden to look this bad. They want to insert someone younger and attractive as the nominee.
It will be one of Newsom, Wes Moore, or Whitmer.
