There is also an element of the Democratic Party that is often forgotten since the last time it happened was 1968.
They can and will violate their own rules.
In 1968 they overrode their own rules to seat all black delegations from AL and MS.
They could have some delegates break their pledges to Biden in a wild chaotic scenario that gets out of control.
While many of us think there is a hidden power structure behind the Democratic Party that does not mean it is a united power structure.
