I just watched Young Turks for a second. One of the comments in chat said (speaking of Biden), “Somebody get this guy an espresso.”
It looks like he had written notes at the beginning. I didn’t see him writing anything, just reading.
I don’t know what the exact figure was, but a lot of people were getting emergency unemployment because so many businesses shut down because of Covid crowd rules. No business for restaurants, movies, etc. I was visiting several times in a rural vacation community over the Covid years. Small businessmen there were complaining that the former workers were so happy with their unemployment checks, they did NOT want to come back to work, even though they now had business. Others who knew conditions in other places said they were aware of the same kind of trouble finding willing workers.
