Nearly half of Americans report that the recent spike in inflation is making it harder to make ends meet...
Monmouth University released a poll Wednesday showing 46% of Americans are “currently struggling to remain where they are financially.”
That figure is the highest point recorded by this pollster since Joe Biden took office and far higher than during his predecessor’s term.
“In polls conducted between 2022 and 2023, this number ranged between 37% and 44%,” Monmouth said in its report.
“In prior polls from 2017 to 2021, this sentiment was much lower at 20% to 29%.”
Prices have risen about 20% since Biden took office, a huge increase across all kinds of goods and services.

I hear that! I had 3 teen boys and a moocher BIL under my roof at one point in time.
And then I would remember my MIL, who raised 14 kids, tell me:
“On Monday I would go the the day-old bakery store and buy 14 loaves of bread. Then on Tuesday I would go to the discount dairy and buy 14 gallons of milk...”
They had chickens for eggs and a beef steer for meat.
I managed to keep us all fed and clothed with a BIG garden, a flock of chickens and we hunted and fished. And this was in the 90’s when doing this stuff was not the least. bit. cool. ;)

Mitt Romney did that to himself instead of simply saying I stand by my statement he let Crowley correct him in real time. Mitt was just a bad candidate when he literally made his convention about him being more likeable and then he adds a Chris Christie as keynote speaker whom literally didn’t mention Mitt Romney’s name till 20 minutes into his speech.
Trump is Trump if he thinks Joe is lying he’ll say so and if he thinks the moderators are protecting him he’ll make sure to point that out too.

If Biden fails, he will not be nominated at the convention and instead a search will take place for replacements, because they are not going to select Harris, for she's an even bigger disaster than Biden. They only picked her as Biden's running mate to ensure that Biden wouldn't he impeached & possibly be convicted if the midterms happened to change Congressional control. The could afford to lose the House, because they had enough RINOs in place to negate any real threat. But they has to hold on to the Senate.
So, let's see how my predictions go.
One last thing:
They will try to gaslight people that the economy is much better than the people realize, but that won't fly with most whose lived life sees the reality that life has less quality under Biden than it did under Trump.
I live with my step daughter and my dog. Going to the grocery store and only spending $75.00 for a week or two is hard going.
A curious side note is that the store has guards to prevent shoplifting. Never saw that before here.

Its common in some urban areas, as is the increasing practice of putting items under some type of lock and key. And don’t forget to watch your back when you leave the store.

Any Republican “majority” is illusory. The party is infested with RINOs.
I don’t know where they get this 20% price rise from. Prices have gone up way more than that for necessary things such as grocery, restaurants, housing, gas, cars. And wholesale has increased way more than retail so businesses and owners aren’t spending as much on other things such as raises, expansion and improvements
