President John F. Kennedy took the virginity of a 19-year-old White House intern in his wife Jackie's bed before engaging in an 18-month-long affair with the young girl that continued up until his assassination in 1963.

While you are likely correct about the motivation for this story, RFK, Jr. is a pretty big scumbag in his own right. Plenty of infidelity of his own, and basically driving his wife to suicide.

On one hand, JFK has been described as being unable to tie his shoes, walk up stairs, almost immobile because of a back injury, and also dying from unkown causes, (for us) and on the other hand a lothario, a satyr.

The issue with JFK is that he is mainly famous for being young and good-looking. He backed down at Bay of Pigs, leading to the missile crisis, where he backed down again, withdrawing US nukes from Turkey. He also got Federal employees unionized, which has been a key driver of bloated Federal spending combined with increasing dysfunction. Overall, he was a president famous for being famous.
JFK would be considered a right wing deplorable today.
