US Secretary of State Antony Blinken condemned Hamas for refusing a UN-backed cease-fire proposal, saying the terror group could have halted the war in Gaza with a single word.
Speaking from Qatar on Wednesday, Blinken pointed out that the current proposal is nearly identical to the one Hamas itself proposed last month, accusing the terrorists of prolonging the war just to insert more demands that undermine the ongoing peace talks.
“It was a deal that Israel accepted and the world was behind. Hamas could have answered with a single word: ‘Yes,'” Blinken told reporters in Doha.
While he did not go into the specific demands that Hamas is now making, the secretary of state described some of the requests as “workable,” while others were clearly nonstarters.

Blinkin needs to disarm Hamass and tell them to release all hostages.
Then “talks” can begin.
I prefer two words: “We surrender.”
1) There is no serious ceasefire on the table.
2) Hamas' (and Iran's) war aim remains to eliminate Israel (and all Jews everywhere and death to America) and no negotiation. I mention Hamas in particular because that's who Blinken is talking sh*t about this time.
3) Israel aims to eliminate Hamas (as long as Bibi is in charge but that could change).
4) The US war aim (here and everywhere) is to keep profitable conflict going even while yapping about peace.
These days it's more dangerous to be a "friend" of the USA than an enemy.
Idiots like Blinken are so intent on making heros of themselves by getting a group of terrorists to agree to a cease fire, they don’t even ask what Israel wants. This guy is worthless.

The progress is “slow” because the IDF is impossibly careful. The civilian to terrorist killed is 1:1, a ratio far, far below that of any USA/NATO action.

What part of death to Israel is negotiable?
Not including race or religion, but the Iranians and it’s ‘allies’ have said many things.
The reality is that they aren’t ‘mistaken’ or ‘misunderstood’ they just lie. They are biggots in that they hate Jews and refuse for them to exist. They cry like little babies when they start a war, and then lose territory because they get killed. They believe it’s ok for them to genocide Christians and Jews, but they should not have to suffer genocide.
I know that I believe much differently than the ‘new generation’ but I no longer feel anything about the people of Gaza or Palestine. They don’t seek peace, they don’t except those of different religions, and they have no belief in equal rights for women. Further, they hide behind women and children, and teach toddlers to hate and kill themselves. There only contribution to the world is bigotry, violence, murder and rape as well as religious intolerance. The entire ‘Palestinian’ issue is now just a giant money sink and money laundering program for the UN and other nations.
The best thing we can do now is ignore them and the problem. Either they will learn to live with their neighbors soon, or “PALESTINE WILL BE ARAB FREE, FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA”.

Maybe he should remind his feeble, brain-addled, pants-crapping boss that there already WAS a cease fire on October 6, and that Hamas STARTED the bloodshed with crimes against humanity in a massive attack in which many of their “innocent civilians “ took part.
Why would they accept? They're winning. And they do not fear death. So far, it's a strategic victory for Hamas.
No, two words: Unconditional Surrender.
