CBS News host Margaret Brennan appeared to be completely taken aback on her Sunday morning show, Face The Nation, after a recent poll appeared to suggest that the majority of Americans support the deportation of all illegal immigrants in the country.
Brennan noted how President Joe Biden has deported and repatriated more people in the past year than any year since 2010, noting how such deportations were legally and practically complex.
The CBS News/YouGov poll, conducted between June 5-7, found that 62 percent of registered voters favored a government program to deport all illegal immigrants.
'Homeland Security says that President Biden has already deported or repatriated more people in the past year than any year since 2010. And then, depending on the details of what's talked about on the campaign trail, some of what Mr. Trump talks about could be illegal,' Brennan said.
It doesn't seem practical, in some sense, to round up children. And then we know that the courts have questioned whether local authorities would have the ability to do it, and federal authorities don't have the resources. So what exactly do people think they're supporting?'
Brennan questioned what people thought they were supporting, given that courts have raised doubts about the feasibility of local authorities to carry out such actions, and federal resources are limited.
The poll also showed that a majority of voters supported Biden's recent executive action at the southern border.

Begin the process by constructing a huge staging area, with 100,000 20-person tents, near Wainwright, Alaska...
Begin transporting trainloads of the migrant invader vermin to the staging area...
After the first winter, reactivate all the mothballed Liberty ships and line them up off Wainwright for loading to take the MIVs home...
Well, yeah. Because if you ILLEGALLY and INTENTIONALLY let tens of millions of illegal aliens into the country un-vetted, unwatched, and un-supervised (especially in a matter of just a couple of years) you have a massively huge number to deal with, where something has to be done with a far larger overall number that must have something done.
Of course, this dimwit is trying to make it sound like President Crap-In-The-Pants is doing something good.
Just more gaslighting for the intellectually feeble who watch her with their vacuous eyes and mouths agape.
“ Brennan noted how President Joe Biden has deported and repatriated more people in the past year than any year since 2010, ”
Not sure I believe that. How many has he let in?
Are they counting all the people who "self deported" under President Trump?

The left is so out of touch with reality.
“...such deportations were legally and practically complex.”
What a crock of crap. Just send them home. If the federal government can ignore all border control laws, then just ignore any laws pertaining to illegals and get rid of them.
Start with the bastards demonstrating HERE IN OUR LAND and with the violent gangs.
I sure wish we had a normal USA again.
The reality is that the United States has 4% of the world's land area, 5% of the world population and 70% of the rest of the world who would like to live here if they could. How do you decide who gets to come in a fair manner?
I felt the same way when Obama got elected.
Only because the little boy was a Cuban and the Democratic Party is communist so they sympathize with the official Comminist Party of Cuba.
Not that high. Europe is developed. East Asia. Plus the Gulf States (they're richer than us). So I'll say 50% of the world, maybe.
1) Change the laws.
2) Figure out the logistics.
It's not complicated. Changing the regime that prevents the obvious solution? THAT is very complicated.
Fact check:
When you let millions more in since 2010 sending back a few hundred thousand is not an accomplishment.
She is See Bull $#1+ (CBS), but I agree with your sentiment. ;-)
Didn't seem to worry the Democrats any when they rounded up my wife's grandparents and great aunts and uncles, who were children at the time, and put them in the Japanese internment camps in the 1940s.
agreed all children need to leave with parents.
All college kids need to go home and fix their own countries.
America used to be capable of doing complex things, as we were reminded last weekend. But, even discounting the concern over economics, crime, drug importation, child predation, disease vectors, there is another reason I think a lot of folks want to deport the illegals. I think the country is approaching, if not already past, the bedrock concept that America is a nation ruled by laws. For a very long time, the “elites” have surreptitiously evaded laws they don’t want to obey but now they are doing so openly and proudly. The middle class didn’t like it but accepted some of it as inevitable in a fallen world. Now, however, the lower class is also openly mocking the rule of law which makes the middle class suspect they are the chumps in this game of upholding the rule of law.
There was a time when at least the middle class felt the rule of law applied evenly to their fellow regular citizens but everything that has happened recently to demonstrate that justice is no longer blind or is dishonestly to certain regular citizens and not to others makes it pretty plain that we are no longer a nation of laws but a nation of political correctness and everything now flows from opinions and not facts.
The illegals are a very visible slap in the face to people who value laws, waiting your turn and basic civil behavior and there is no reason to believe that this group will suddenly start respecting America’s laws and every reason to believe the opposite.
Just stop giving them cell phones loaded with everything they need available to them free of charge at the taxpayers’ expense. They’ll leave.
Oh. Right.
Sorry ... those scumbags all look alike to me.
