This is what I tell the open borders crowd when they spout their bromides:

The reality is that the United States has 4% of the world's land area, 5% of the world population and 70% of the rest of the world who would like to live here if they could. How do you decide who gets to come in a fair manner?

(The answer, of course, is to do what every sane country on the planet does and assign criteria and scoring methodology, but that's beyond their comprehension.)

Not that high. Europe is developed. East Asia. Plus the Gulf States (they're richer than us). So I'll say 50% of the world, maybe.
