Trump prefers being his own pit bull, so that usual VP quality may not be as important this time round.
I can see every one of those names being secretary positions, if he is misdirecting for VP.
“Very fake news.”
Elise Stefanik. Trump’s real problem is white people. He is on track for the worst showing among whites for a Republican presidential candidate in 60 years.
I didn’t receive my vetting paperwork yet. Maybe its still in the mail.
Trump needs to find someone who is loyal to him as the first requirement. RINOs who certified the 2020 Big Steal without question should all be excluded.
Elise Stefanik has more testosterone than the rest of them.
This release may simply be a trial balloon to look for reaction.
Neither Stefanik nor Burghum are social conservatives. Red flag for me.
Michael Pence.
DeSantis, Mike Flynn, or Kevin Roberts.
DJT needs to pick an articulate, no nonsense outsider, who has no ties to the Deep State.
If DJT picks a Beltway lightweight, the globalist cabal will assassinate him to get to a pliable VP successor.
Donald Trump needs to focus on this hard fact.
I think Carson has an excellent chance of being picked. Wouldn’t hurt in Detroit.
Vance or Carson...
Both Donalds and Rubio are from Florida. This is not an unsurmountable problem but it unnecessarily opens up Trump to claims of carpetbagging for whomever has to move. Also, neither of Rubio's parents were citizens when he was born.
Trump already knows about Carson, since he was Trump's Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
Names that are not on the list but floated in the press are Vivek Ramaswamy, Glenn Youngkin, Greg Abbott, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Tulsi Gabbard. And then there are the names that nobody has mentioned yet.

I think it’s down to two choices: Glenn Youngkin or Elise Stefanik.
This is going to be another VERY close election. If possible, Trump MUST pick a VP who MIGHT deliver a key state... and, ALSO be a good candidate to be President, if needed.
I think, Youngkin is the best choice. I LIKE Stefanik. She might help with suburban women. But Youngkin is very popular in Virginia. He MIGHT be enough to flip that critical state. And, he’s been an executive, and a good one. He’d likely be a good President.
I’m not sure New York is close enough for Stafanik to make a difference. She MIGHT help in other areas. Would need to see how she polls there. I don’t think she helps outside of New York.
My money is on Glenn.
Tim Scott would be a waste.
Rubios won’t help much, and causes other problems.
i’d guess Rubio for the hispanic vote
How lucky to have so many excellent choices.
His Cabinet is going to be great.
I’m sorry but a wonderful man and Doctor, Carson, is Jeff Sessions with a degree in Medicine.
“Boring backup” is exactly what’s needed. Trump turns 78 next week, folks. His running mate needs to be ready to be President on 1/20/25.
Also, this election will probably be decided by “double disapprovers” who dislike both candidates. Trump’s running mate needs to be someone they’re comfortable with.
Burgundy might not be the best choice in the world, but he’s probably the best on that list.
Lee Zeldin, for VP! But, Donald Trump would create the most Leftist/most Anti-Trump heart attacks with Donald Trump, Jr. (or with any other Trump) for VP!
No Scott, No Carson
