‘Be Quiet, Shut Up!’: Megyn Kelly Goes After Biden’s ‘Play For Sympathy’ On Hunter Biden Trial
The Daily Caller ^ | 06/04/2024 | Julianna Frieman

Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly criticized President Joe Biden’s “play for sympathy” over Hunter Biden’s trial for his federal gun charge.

Biden released a statement saying that he is “the president” but is also “a dad” who is “so proud” of his son, who faces three felony gun charges brought by special counsel David Weiss. As jury selection kicked off Monday, Kelly ripped into Biden for attempting to “influence” potential jurors.

“So now we’ve got President Biden going to Wilmington and actually making a statement like, well on the eve of this trial,” Kelly said. “It’s still inappropriate. It’s not appropriate for a sitting president of the United States to be commenting on any sort of a criminal case. This, last week, when he commented on Trump. Stay out of it! Stop it!”

“In some way, shape, or form, you’re influencing things. The Trump case still has to go up on appeal, your son’s case is in the process of jury selection. So be quiet, shut up!” she exclaimed. “Pipe down, you don’t have to comment on everything. It’s a clear attempt to influence those Delawareans who love the family.”

Or as King Arthur once wisely said, “Shut up! Will you shut up!”

Annoying that they’ll prosecute him for the very least of his crimes.

I suppose they have to choose a crime that doesn’t involve his dad.

I wonder if she’s figured it out yet?

Trump may occasionally say something “mean”. But he was a darn good president. Biden, on the other hand, is actively subverting everything that makes America a decent country.

Does she get it? I suspect that she sometimes leans toward the idea that “maybe Trump isn’t that bad” but all it takes is for Trump to make one wrong move and I bet she’ll go into assassin mode to destroy that Republican monster.

They are going after Hunter on the dumbest case they can get him on so the justice system doesn’t look totally politicized instead of going after him for being the bag man for his dad

Very well said. Sums the Demented One’s presidency up in a nutshell.

Biden’s had more tragedy in his family than most of us. I’ll cut him some slack here.

I wonder if he’ll get just as good a jury as Trump got.

"They are going after Hunter on the dumbest case they can get him on so the justice system doesn’t look totally politicized instead of going after him for being the bag man for his dad"

Beau was Joe's bagman first.

Excerpt from an interview between Tom Brokaw and Joe Biden from 2008. Brokaw is questioning Joe about Beau's getting a $100,000 a year job right out of law school with the Delaware based credit card company MNBA Corporation, which was later taken over by Bank of America. Brokaw also asks Joe about campaign contributions from the same company.

I found this on patriots.win. The link is to the original clip posted on X by actor James Woods:

Imogene Coca. I remember watching her and Sid Caesar in “Your Show of Shows” as a kid.

Did he mention that Beau died under enemy fire at Iwo Jima?
