Former President Donald Trump’s favorability rating slightly increased, but remained statistically unchanged from March 2024, after Democrat Manhattan prosecutor Alvin Bragg successfully convicted Trump last week, an ABC News poll found Sunday.
The survey suggests Americans have not changed their feelings about Trump after the conviction that many legal commentators believe was secured by novel legal theory. Trump pledged to appeal the verdict Friday. Sentencing is scheduled for mid-July before the Republican Party’s convention.

Well, this is pretty good news for the time being. I doubt Biden can do or say anything to win people to his side after his miserable 4 years, so it does come down to if the mushy middle is fine with casting a ballot for Trump or not.
...and that is not counting the folks that will in no way tell the media they are voting for Trump.
If ABC Fake News says Pres Trump’s favorability has gone up *slightly* ... you know it’s actually a YUGE amount.

The poll sampled 781 adults from May 31 to June 1 with a 3.7 point margin of error. Trump’s trial ended on May 30.
If it went up with polling Adults probably thru the roof with likely voters
It’s not what it was, re likely voters.
They are measured by “did you vote in the last X elections?”
Black male and young voters are polling pro Trump. They would answer No to that question and would not be likely voters.
So Trump’s strength with Likely Voters is not going to be stronger. Note that this poll was Adults, not even Registered Voters.

Black men, as a group, are under the incorrect impression that they are targeted by law enforcement for selective and unfair treatment. The true argument by Trump to the same effect is going to resonate with them. Plus there’s the Biden administration’s bizarre fetish of focusing on black women, which I can’t help doesn’t sit well with the men
Trump is going to win a THIRD time and by a number so large it will make their steal more desperate and obvious and that is where we’re going to be in November…The world knowing they stole it and they claiming democracy has worked. Start figuring what YOU’RE gonna do…
