Yes!

And the NY Court of Appeals is also packed with Trump haters. They are only going to run out the clock and support their boy, Merchan.

And his $100 Million dollar daughter

Earlier today I posted the rules for removing a juror. Sure enough, one reason to remove a juror is if that juror fails to deliberate, which could mean almost anything as long as the judge is willing to call the shots that way.

I read somewhere today that somebody watching the jurors says there are about 8 jurors that obviously hate Trump. There is one juror who smiles or is excited when members of Congress have been there supporting Trump, and the person who noticed it believes that person may be the hold-out. If it is only one person a person can only negotiate for so long before it’s just rehashing the same stuff ad nauseum. Eventually all you can do is say, “No, we’ve been through this all a million times. I’m not buying your schtick.”

And at that point, Merchan can step in if he so chooses.

That’s why I’m praying that there are at least 2 holdouts who can keep each other strong, and one fight when the other wears out and vice versa.

SCOTUS stepped in, in 2000.

They need to step in now.

No the alternates sit through the whole trial. They exist mainly in case of some personal reason someone has to leave. IANAL but I’ve heard of jurors being swapped out. They would have to deliberate all over again with a new juror.

But imagine a scenario where 11-1 and the 11 say the 1 is breaking the rules eg is talking about things unrelated to the evidence and testimony, or the judge gets a photograph of the juror getting a fat envelope. A judge could sit with the juror and decide upon questioning he/she is no longer suitable or otherwise compromised.

If Dershowitz says he’s seen it, I believe him.

Even if alternates are available, there has to be a “valid” reason to remove the juror.
It can’t just be that they disagree with the others. Maybe if they were crazy and refused to talk to the other jurors.
In any event, removing a juror who would acquit would be the icing on this corrupt cake.

Merchan needs to be disbarred, have his citizenship revoked and be deported back to Bogotá.

Like I’ve said in many posts in the past, not verdict but guilty will be accepted; not by Merchan and not by Biden and not by democrats, and not by the left-wing media. They’re all prepared to run the democrat campaigns without Trump in the picture. Democrats are very confident that Trump will get guilty verdict, and they’re counting on it.

With Flynn and Manafort, the Prosecutors had secret hearings with the Judges and had the Statute of limitations paused (tolled).

With Hunter, they let the serious charges age out and immunized him, in effect.

They will do whatever it takes, and no one holds them to a single standard.

Based on… what?

Juror misconduct? Cuz that seems about all it could be.

What’s really ironic is that Trump haters had to have lied to get on the jury. So if this person knows they are Trump haters, they obviously lied to get on the jury and should thus be removed as jurors, based on the rules I posted earlier for juror removal.

"I don’t think a judge can switch out longer, just because that juror won’t go along with the others. Especially after less than 4 hours."

Dershowitz gave the example of the jury foreman claiming the holdout was refusing to deliberate with the others. If that one juror is offering reasons why Trump isn't guilty, or partakes in any conversation with the other jurors about the case, he's deliberating, and shouldn't be removed. And if a Judge or juror is concerned how they will be treated, or feel they have disappointed their friends, family members or co-workers, if Trump isn't convicted, they shouldn't be a Judge or sit on a jury. I wonder how many of the jurors will make the rounds on the TV shows whether President Trump is acquitted or found guilty of no specific crime.

Juan Merchan has overwhelmingly demonstrated that anything can be anything he wants it to be.

But disagreeing with everyone else, is not a reason to disqualify to my knowledge. But let him do it, I think it only makes a stronger case to not only overturn the conviction, but to disbar Merchan in the process.

Some jurors said they hated Trump.

The defense tried to toss them and Merchan overruled them.

This has been scripted and planned from start to finish. That’s why Merchan had zero curiosity or interest in what the second charge was.

Here are the rules for removal of a juror. Notice that failure to deliberate leaves a lot of wiggle room: https://legal-info.lawyers.com/criminal/criminal-law-basics/excluding-jurors-removing-and-disqualifying.html

Merchan knows he’s going to be overturned on appeal anyway so he’ll do all he can to assure a conviction on anything. That was the plan all along, to be able to influence voters by calling Trump a convicted felon.

If this abomination of a trial achieves a guilty verdict and it holds up on all appeals then that should be enough to kick off a 2nd civil war.

We can all clearly see what a shoddy railroad job this has been. This kinda' stuff has no place in our America and it's all being done just to save the most horrid (p)resident in our lifetimes... A sleazy old pervert that wants to put us all in bondage.

The conviction won't be overturned until after the election, and that's all that matters.
