President Biden addressed a packed Arlington National Cemetery to mark Memorial Day on Monday, making somber remembrance of members of the armed forces killed in combat.
“We gather at this sacred place at this solemn moment to remember and to honor the sacrifice of the hundreds of thousands of women and men have given their lives to this nation,” Biden said. “Each one, literally, a link in the chain of honor stretching back to our founding days, each one bound by common commitment not to a place, not to a person, not to a president, but to an idea unlike any idea in human history: the idea of the United States of America.”

Hunter was a war hero too for about a week after his old man forced him upon the Navy JAG. He was discharged a week later after failing the drug test
Beau Biden was 47 and a civilian who died of brain cancer. The average soldier in VN was aged 19 and the average life of the VN soldiers and those in the Mideast who were lost was probably not over 20. A bit of difference here on Memorial Day, wouldn’t you say, Mr. Biden??
We used to burn the garbage in an old 55 gallon drum. I seriously doubt there is any danger of brain cancer from doing this.
Yeah, but what about the dangers of seeing burn pits from an office window? Or driving past one once?
Talk about missing the obvious points here.
Biden has always insinuated his son died as an honorable veteran. This is more than a lapse of judgement by a grieving father.
It’s a big middle finger to the real heroes who gave their lives in service of our country.
Three military sons in my dad’s family: Bruce, the oldest, was killed in the South Pacific in the prime of his life toward the end of WWII. Keith, the middle plowed through Germany in a tank liberating a concentration camp. He died of cancer in his 80’s after living a wonderful life. My dad, the youngest, enlisted in the army and served during Occupation of Germany after the war. He is still alive at 96.
Today we honor Bruce. ✝️🇺🇸
God bless 🙏
Thank you All.
...that’s last year’s story, this year he was killed on Omaha storming the beaches at Normandy.
Wasn’t Beau at Washington’s side crossing the Delaware River?
I am sure that as a father he does miss his son.
For reference the Soldier laying on the ground killed is what Memorial day is for, His comrades around him in obvious pain of his death are the Veterans.
So simple even a retarded senile old man 'should' know the difference.
Because Joe is a Malignant Narcissist that can not empathize with other people. Joe is all about Joe.
Just, Eeewwwwwww........
who, not that.
He never really was in a combat zone, I doubt he ever left the Green Zone to venture out.
Everything, everywhere, all at once is about FJB.
