Today, I join all those who loved him and all those touched by the civil rights movement he inspired in remembering the tragedy and injustice of his death.
He changed the world.

Of course, our “president” who did not play football for the Naval Academy but thinks he did; who did not come under fire in Afghanistan but thinks he did; who does not have a son who was killed in combat, but thinks he did; whose first wife was not killed by a drunk driver but thinks she was; somehow, this “leader” ignores those who died for their country on Memorial Day weekend which was the intent of the holiday weekend.

If he was alive, he’d be in jail. If he were alive, how many more victims would he have created. I have no sympathies for the officers either, specifically the one who killed him, the others, practically cadets were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
