The entitled Harvard students who participated in the pro-Hamas campus encampments are in for a rude awakening that their mommy and daddy cannot bail them out of.
Harvard’s Administrative Board has rejected a recommendation from faculty members to allow the 13 students who protested against Israel to graduate with their classmates.
The seniors will not be allowed to graduate even if they are in good standing or have never faced a prior disciplinary action during their four years at the Ivy League school.
115 faculty members attended an annual FAS degree meeting where they argued against withholding degrees from the students. They claimed they had the authority to add the seniors back onto the graduating list because they believed that disciplinary actions were subject to approval by the FAS. However, the board said that the FAS does not have the authority that the faculty members think it has.
Just three days earlier, the students were notified of disciplinary charges from the board. They will be allowed to participate in the graduating ceremony but not receive their degrees.
On Thursday, pro-Hamas students marched out of Harvard’s commencement ceremony in protest.

I would expect Harvard’s plan is to give them their degrees, such as they are, simply at a later date when the issue has gone quiet.
I disagree; these are the crown jewels of the Harvard Learning Experience. They should be seated on the stage at the graduation ceremony, and provided prime time slots for speeches about how Harvard prepared them for their big moment in the sun,
Either that or some there university honors the credits.
They will probably grant them the degrees in September.
But they should force the students to retake the classes. After all, they must have missed the finals?
I asked her if she thought something like it could ever happen here.
She was adamant, it could never happen in the USA.
I said the USA was becoming more and more authoritarian.
While she wasn't completely transparent, the impression I got was she was a dedicated leftist, and it could not happen in the USA because the left would never do anything like that.
It was a surreal moment.
Just imagine AOC gets elected as the POTUS in 2028.
Why?
There are college/universities that have been indoctrinating students with Marxist, anti-America and anti Judeo-Christian values for decades. Their students who've learned to embrace and espouse an anti-America, anti-Judeo-Christian world view are celebrated; they are not prevented from graduating. Reprobate faculty and administrations at some of these institutions have allowed for and even participated in the demonization and ostracized of Christian, MAGA and now Jewish students.
What I see in Harvard's decision is selective outrage at a position (pro-Hamas) that offends many Harvard supporters/donors - particularly its multi-millionaire Jewish alumni and donors.
Being a private institution, Harvard has every right to decide who it graduates. However its selective outrage will likely result in many civil suits, which it can cover with its $40 billion endowment.
I think they should have their heads shaved and swastikas tattooed on their foreheads.
Expel them all from Harvard, no degrees/diplomas (and exile the Islamicists home to Arabia or whatever Krapistan they’re from)
then trace the organization and funding to its origin (looks exactly like SorozNazi’s Modus Operendi), arrest, try, and send convicts to Guantanamo
it is the organization and funding that needs to be dealt with
....or else we’ll keep having these BLM, Occupy Wall Street, and AntiFa riots all across America
It’s infuriating they weren’t.
Their parents are likely getting money from the United Nations, which is supposed to go to regular Palestinians but probably ends up in the pockets of HAMAS families, who then send their brats to Ivy league institutions in the US, UK and Canada.
