MSNBC commentator Donny Deutsch said Monday on “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump was “terrified” of going to jail because he will be “pulled apart” by not being able to have his normal routines.
Discussing the judge in the New York City business records trial threatening jail time for any more gag order offenses, host Nicolle Wallace said, “I want to dive back into the testimony but I have to start with jail. Trump, who didn’t go to a memorial for United States veterans of World War I and II in France because it was raining and his hair would get messed up, for a million reasons, petty, shallow and primal, Trump does not want to go to jail.”

The way I read the article (granted it was just a quick skim), I think he was basically saying 'President Trump is such a high energy 'get things done' kind of guy, that being restricted to the extent that one would be when incarcerated' would drive him nuts. Basically 'terrify him'. Not due to physical fear, but due to not being able to do anything (make deals, plans, etc).
I could see that. Nonetheless President Trump seems the kind of guy who will do anything for his Country and for saving the US Constitution. Prayers that this political persecution stops - and this evil turns on the heads of his (and this Nation's) enemies.

He’s right that Trump has an internal need to always be doing something. However, I think Trump is highly adaptable to his environment and would just find things to do. Like reading books and whatever.
Barring a hired gun in the prison system, I think he’d be ok.

Even if Trump went to jail, plenty of prisoners would be there to protect him. But it is absurd to think that would happen at all. The judge would only put him house detention and he knows it. SS demands would be unreal to house him in any kind of jail or prison.

And they conveniently leave out the FACTS commented on by their buddy Bolton who was there and said Trump NEVER SAID THESE WORDS- Fact 1. Fact 2 is that the Secret Service said no dice on spur of the moment leaving to go to the cemetary in the weather conditions (chopper availability, ground support etc.- it could not happen).
