Every State Facing Deceptive, Unlimited Abortion Ballot Measures This November
The Federalist ^ | MAY 03, 2024 | JORDAN BOYD

Eleven states could see abortion through all nine months of pregnancy enshrined in their state constitutions this November.

Democrats and their abortion giant allies want to legalize killing unborn babies throughout all nine months of gestation in every state. A majority of U.S. adults reject that position, but that fact hasn’t stopped the ballot measure battle that plagued Ohio last year from infiltrating several other states, including those controlled by Republicans, during the 2024 election cycle.

On the Ballot

Florida

Florida voters will be asked come November 5 to weigh in on a state constitutional amendment declaring, “No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider.”

As with other abortion measures led by out-of-state activists, the path to the Sunshine State’s ballot measure involved deception and, in this case, fraudulent signatures. The amendment itself is laced with loose terms like “viability,” which can easily be exploited to ensure abortion at any point in gestation and includes language that does away with parental consent.

If the proposed amendment passes this fall, medical professionals in Florida could deem abortion at any stage of pregnancy necessary for a woman’s “health,” physical, emotional, or mental. If it fails, Florida’s heartbeat law will stand.

Maryland

Maryland is already one of the most pro-abortion states in the U.S., but a ballot measure up for vote on Election Day 2024 could make the state’s sweeping abortion provisions more permanent and prevent any limits from being enacted in the future.

“patient’s health” may include being annoyed that she won’t look as good in a bikini if she has to get a C-section.

Unfortunately, that’s their golden calf. And they’re going to milk it for every ounce of protein they can squeeze out of it and as usual women will show up to the polls in droves. Don’t Be surprised if FJB wins by the skin of his teeth because of these gullible effing, stupid women! And you’re gonna see all these college women students brainwashed to go vote their bodies. Don’t underestimate this evil demonic effing party who loves to murder babies! I know this will make some uncomfortable, but it’s got to be said. The baby killers have won 13 straight special elections because of abortion and this has become a winning strategy for them. Unfortunately, right now the Republicans don’t have a leg to stand on. The rats are unstoppable of winning more elections with this satanic golden calf strategy!

Men love unprotected sex without romance, commitment or financial responsibility. Women foolishly go along.

If we try to restrict abortion, then Democrats will put unlimited abortion on the ballot.

Not because they think it will pass, but in order to maximize the number of Dem women showing up.

ever notice they never let you actually see what happens to a fetus or a baby in an abortion.

Put up a picture of that and you get that taken right down.

They don’t want that picture in their heads.

Any state that has it on the ballot will likely have Democrats winning. I’m not sure how or if they can neutralize the issue.

Article I, Section 22 The Right to Reproductive Freedom with Protections for Health and Safety
Ohio Constitution

A. Every individual has a right to make and carry out one’s own reproductive decisions, including but not limited to decisions on:

1. contraception;

2. fertility treatment;

3. continuing one’s own pregnancy;

4. miscarriage care; and

5. abortion.

B. The State shall not, directly or indirectly, burden, penalize, prohibit, interfere with, or discriminate against either:

1. An individual’s voluntary exercise of this right or

2. A person or entity that assists an individual exercising this right,

unless the State demonstrates that it is using the least restrictive means to advance the individual’s health in accordance with widely accepted and evidence-based standards of care.

However, abortion may be prohibited after fetal viability. But in no case may such an abortion be prohibited if in the professional judgment of the pregnant patient’s treating physician it is necessary to protect the pregnant patient’s life or health.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I’m not a lawyer, but as I read the above an individual MINOR has the right to make his or her own reproductive decision, which would include the decision to reproduce with an ADULT, and the state can’t do anything to stop the MINOR or the ADULT.

I wonder if that consequence was intended or unintended and when someone will press the issue.

Doe vs Bolton was a companion lawsuit to Roe that allowed for abortion until the due date if the mother’s health was at stake, which included physical, mental, emotional, and socioeconomic health.

When ppl try to tell you no late term abortions are being committed in America, tell them they’re full of it. Approximately 10% of all abortions are late-term pregnancies, which would equal 35,000 at Planned Parenthood alone. Of course, it’s a lot more expensive to acquire one that far along but they’re performed regularly in most states, thanks to Doe.

>> Why do democrats love to murder babies so much? <<

You think this issue is only attributable to Democrats alone? You'd better step back and come to grips with the fact that they are not the only public sector instituting acceptance of abortion, nor of religious stance either.

What I say is that animals have a soul, but no spirit as do humans, thus the beasts have no sense of the concept of sin. Their only reprehension of consequences is the prescient awareness of the results from their actions.

In a public school system that denies and smothers the concept of a Creator God to Whom we must answer for our behaviors and promotes the idea of truth being relative and situational, thelife of one's human spirit has no eternal everlasting meaning or value.

Exterminate the fetus, and the inconvenience of its existence no longer hinders unlimited sexual titillation. That ungodly response to the insemination of a female is animalistic, of Satanic origin.

Obliteration of the knowledge of God Incarnate is a necessity for the prevalence of this public opinion that human abortion is good, not extremely evil.

It is a cessation of earthly life that is not different than the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth.

On the night before His death, it stands recorded that He prophesied to His intimate friends, instructing them:

John 14:22, 16:5-14 (AV):
22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot,
>Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
  23Jesus answered and said unto him,
If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
  27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
. . .
56 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. 7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Is it not clear that whosoever condones killing of pre-born infants has been blinded to the Presence of God, whose soul has been converted to selfishness like that of an animal, and is not slated for an everlasting existence with the Lord Jesus Messiah and His Father in the residence which He has prepared for us, the genuine regenerated spiritual Children of God?

What is the eternal end of the perpetrators of abortion, unless the Holy Spirit convicts them of their awful depravity, and they confess their justly condemned sins, repent of them, so that they themselves may obtain the forgiveness not only of the Mighty Judge, but also of their own redeemed and preserved uncondemned little children, that are now abundant in that Heavenly Realm?
----------

Please, Father, I beg Thee to let someone be convicted and saved through reading Jesus' words and responding to them! Amen.

“Florida voters will be asked come November 5 to weigh in on a state constitutional amendment declaring, “No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion...”

The wording makes one wonder...
If a voter is against such legislation, does one vote “no”, or “yes”

These bass turds are too clever by half

“If we try to restrict abortion, then Democrats will put unlimited abortion on the ballot.”

And even when we reach the point where every state has completely free and unrestricted abortions, it will STILL be on the ballot every year — because it works so well.

“You must KEEP voting for Democrats or those evil Republicans will TAKE AWAY YOUR PRECIOUS RIGHTS if you ever let them get back into power anywhere!!!!”

I predicted this would happen last November.

I still believe that abortion is a one-and-done issue.

The electoral impacts in the aftermath of overturning Roe is short-term. Once the red and blue states have acted on their ballot initiatives post-Roe, the issue will fade electorally unless the left can concoct ongoing reasons to relitigate the issue election after election. Worst case is a state passes a 15-week ban, then they push for a 16-week ban in the next election, then a 17-week ban in the next, and repeat after each election cycle.

Still, the immediate win is that we no longer speak about abortion as a "right." It is now up to each state to pass laws regulating it.

This is beginning to look like the finale of a fireworks display. The left is shooting all of their abortion claims at once because they fear control is slipping away.
