A 4.8-magnitude earthquake shook the New York City area Friday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The epicenter of the earthquake was in Lebanon, N.J., according to USGS.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) said it was felt throughout the state.
“My team is assessing impacts and any damage that may have occurred, and we will update the public throughout the day,” her office said on social media.
The New York City Fire Department said it had no reports of damage at this time.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams’s office also said he was briefed on the situation.
“While we do not have any reports of major impacts at this time, we’re still assessing the impact,” his office said on social media.

Only... you don’t get to pick and choose. A natural disaster would kill millions of innocent people that had no choice in the matter. In a civil war, people will have made choices and taken sides. Sure, there will be people that refuse to “pick a side”... but they’ll at least have been given that choice. Therefore, there’s a difference.
And come to think of it, the way the nation is going... quite probably ... our only chance of survival against the commie left Marxists... might just be the dreaded CW solution. It’s what they’ve been pushing for.

Information shows that the Kinsmen Redeemer Ministries are from Kentucky.
They have a very comprehensive set of articles and audio files.
It seems that they are militant Christians.

What’s 2024 doing in there? Or the word Earthquake in the title (department of redundancy)

And there’s no distance given to Whitehouse Station, as if the EQ is centered on the place.
It’s not even the closest reference point. Whitehouse Station is ~ 6 mi south, whereas Califon is ~ 4 mi a little north of west..

I too am on LI. It lasted for about 30 sec. Hutch in bedroom was shaking I was concerned it would topple over. Ran down basement to see if furnace was ok. It come from southern direction.

There was a group who set up a replica of the tabernacle for a couple weeks every year. It had the outer wall, separating the tabernacle from the camp.
