On Friday’s broadcast of “CNN This Morning,” CNN Senior Political Analyst Mark Preston stated that critics of President Joe Biden attending a fundraiser in New York and skipping the wake of a slain NYPD officer are “not telling you…that Joe Biden has been to these funerals in the past. In fact, back in 2014, he had gone to an officer’s slaying who was gunned down just sitting inside his patrol car.”
After viewing video of Fox News host Greg Gutfeld criticizing the fundraiser, Preston said, “When it comes to the split-screen moment, he is right, in the sense that it doesn’t necessarily look good. But the reality is, is what they’re not telling you is that Joe Biden has been to these funerals in the past. In fact, back in 2014, he had gone to an officer’s slaying who was gunned down just sitting inside his patrol car. The fact of the matter is, this fundraiser was put on. Yes, people in Middle America look at New York and they look at L.A., and they say, look at the glitz, look at these limousine liberals telling us what to do. But that’s the reality is — and at the same time that the Trump campaign comes out and says, look, he’s going to raise $25 million, three hours later, they [came] out and said, we’re going to raise $33 million. So, you can have it both ways. But, in this political world, unfortunately, you can.”

The primary problem is that the police funeral is an event that is not 100% controlled by the president's caretakers (he has declined past needing mere handlers). There is a possibly hostile crowd and non-scripted questions might be asked. We can't have that.
That is Biden. The zombi parading around is not.

And the Old Post Office...in DC...They were going to demolish it. It's now a magnificent example of what a man like Trump can do. Total dedication to making things better.
Democrat no bail and cycling criminals back on the street policies is what created this police officer’s funeral. Biden is not about to show up at it to remind folks why the officer is in a casket. And no doubt even if he had his staff request permission to attend, he would have got the Hochul treatment. So, he saved himself the embarrassment

Two minority policemen were shot and killed while sitting in their squad car in Queens. An Hispanic and Asian officer. Cop hating Obama didn’t want to attend so he told lapdog Joe to go. A fundraiser wasn’t scheduled that day.
Yeah but he did NOT go to a police funeral where the cop was murdered by a violent career criminal let loose on the streets because of asinine liberal policies which are killing cops
World tribune, a foreign news paper even noted that Trump was at the funeral while biden partied down-
Guess Biden figures one murdered cop is the same as another.
After all, he went to one of those in 2014.
