Donald Trump claimed he has half a billion dollars in cash in series of furious posts on Truth Social ahead of the deadline to pay the $454million New York fraud fine.
The former president didn't mention paying the bond and insisted that a 'substantial amount' of the huge haul of money was set aside for his campaign.
He also hinted that New York Attorney General Letitia James and Judge Engoron chose the huge fine to stop him running for president.

Trump has the cash, it's important for him to point out that the cash is allocated for the campaign, and that the Democrats a purposely interferring with the funding of the leading presidential candidate's campaign.

Your mixing up campaign vs personal funds. He cannot use campaign funds for the personal/business bond in New York. I’ve read discussion over the past months, even from supporters, that question just when and even if campaign funds can be used for personal matters.
