Floyd’s death during a police chokehold on May 25, 2020, ignited nationwide protests to reform police procedures.
“It doesn’t get any worse than that,” President Donald Trump said of Floyd’s death. Within three weeks, he signed an executive order establishing an abuse-of-force database and called for improved police practices.
Fast forward to Feb. 22, 2024, when Georgia nursing student Laken Riley was bludgeoned to death, allegedly at the hands of an illegal migrant, Jose Ibarra, who is a member of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

Floyd was a criminal who died of a drug overdose.
That’s an understatement. Laken Reilly had no criminal record, was attending school to improve her life and join a profession that helps people.
Floyd was a career criminal, with multiple arrests for drug possession and dealing, theft, robbery with a deadly weapon, and trespassing. He was human flotsam.
Reilly wanted to contribute to society; Floyd wanted to take from society.
I would value one Laken Reilly over a thousand George Floyds.
Her life was worth much more
Riley Laken was a pretty, straight white girl from an intact and religious family murdered by an illegal. That’s why the left hates her. Everything about that poor girl’s life makes the lefties wretch.
Floyd was an uneducated waste of space with a long history of violence and convictions that died [of course] of fentanyl overdose under circumstances where the arresting white officer could be framed - not by science, but by cell phone videos. That is why the left builds statues to him.
Because we do not riot.
It is not a happy conclusion that I have to make the government afraid of me to get them to do their job.
But here we are.
Apologies for the misspelling. It’s almost St Patrick’s Day, so I have Irish brain. Riley is correct.
It was worth 6789 times more that that drug addicted woman beating scumbag. Floyd is hopefully in hell where he belongs.
Likely much more valuable to the US treasury over her normal lifetime.
Oh, the gov’t IS afraid of you, just not enough.
That’s the problem, for every Laken Riley there’s a thousand George Floyds.
Sadly, you’re right. 😞
Yes Laken Riley, may she rest in peace, was a nursing student trying to help people in her future career.
George Floyd had an extensive criminal record which was not mentioned in most news stories due to fears of being doxed and canceled.
“George Floyd had multiple arm robberies. Home invasion # 2 occupant was a pregnant woman, pointing a gun at her abdomen, and threatened her baby if she did not quietly acquiesce to the robbery.” He was incarcerated for four years. In May 2020 Floyd was caught passing counterfeit money and threatening a store attendant and he resisted arrest.
The autopsy results confirmed Floyd was on Fentanyl and methamphetamines as well as cannabinoids.”
AzzH01e Joe Biden always pimping out his dead children to get sympathy.
And then Laken Riley gets murdered by an illegal, and Biden forgets to mention the pain of a child dying.
Too surreal for any kind of fiction.
- note: I will continue to use “Bob” when talking about PedoJoe’s late son, until he decides to apologize for getting it wrong at the SOTU.
Floyd was never put in a “chokehold”. There was a knee resting on his neck so he couldn’t get up. The coroner said he didn’t die of neck compression. Now article writer, start with that.
Who would dare to publish an article rating a nursing student who was not a criminal as merely “no less” than George Floyd, an habitual criminal, fraudster, and drug addict?
I have met Betsy McCaughey and I find this article appalling.
We all know equally is racist.
I have to conclude that you are correct.
Google the video The Fall of Minneapolis and learn truth in the drug death of George Floyd. The cops should be released from prison.
