Trump Lawyers Put Final Nails in Fani Willis's Coffin [Freeper Buckhead]
Townhall ^ | Mia Cathell

Posted on 03/02/2024 6:41:57 AM PST by RoosterRedux

The misconduct hearings on efforts to oust Fulton County DA Fani Willis from the Trump RICO case have come to a close. Both sides delivered final arguments Friday, each arguing where the bar should be set for the judge's looming disqualification decision.

...

Trump defense attorney Steve Sadow said an "appearance of impropriety" is "enough" to disqualify her under Georgia law.

...

Sadow raised rhetorical questions about who has the strongest motive to lie: "Who has the best motive of anyone to lie? They do. Who has the most at stake to lie? They do. Who wants to stay on this case, for whatever the financial reason may be? They do."

He also lambasted Willis for pulling out the race card at a black church in Atlanta where she claimed that Wade is under scrutiny simply because he's "a black man." Colloquially called "the church speech," which was part of a public conversation she had "with God," the Democrat DA's comments injecting race violated the professional rules of conduct, Sadow argued.

It was a "calculated" maneuver, Sadow said, to create "prejudice" in the minds of the jurors. "Can you think of anything more that would heighten public condemnation of the defendant than alleging that the defense counsel and the defendants were making their motion based on race and religion? That's as bad as it gets in Fulton County, with all due respect," Sadow stated.

"Virtually everybody in this community [...] has reviewed and analyzed that speech that she made in a premeditated way," attorney Craig Gillen for Trump co-defendant David Shafer added, accusing Willis of attempting to taint the jury pool.

Whatever the decision, FAWNI has done very poorly facing the ethics gorilla, a fact now known by the black community of Fulton County and beyond......they do not trust her and so she will not be re-elected AG.

Fawni is now qualified to be the Madame of a Fulton County Whore House doing favors for her fellow radical , Marxist Democrats..:

The deepstate is a conspiracy of incompetents. Just look at them all... Blinken, Bush, Fani, Dade Phelan, Liz Cheney....
it’s endless. The think they have in common is that they are self-serving, venal, conceited, power hungry narcissists and psychopaths, except for the one’s who are the fat, dumb lazy useful idiots.

IIRC, Fani stated once (to someone out of court) that black people have different cultural norms when it comes to sex and affairs and, given that, her personal behavior ought to be off-limits.

The only way they stay in office is speak platitudes to the voters and dig into the govt. coffers for monetary gain. Their supposed reason for their office is neglected.
We need more people like Cincinnatus.

I hope so - but I’m still hesitant about the outcome here.

We certainly haven’t heard the last of Fat Fani - she’ll resurrect herself for a political run in a friendly district - and win. She is a hero among certain populations..

The problem is that each time your gang enriches itself through public corruption you have to buy off some more people. At some point the payoffs exceed the money that can be grifted from the public and the public can no longer live with the dysfunction. We are at that point.

This would have been a whole lot easier if Roberts and his do-gooder handmaiden hadn't ducked the hard calls a long time ago so an end could start to be put to this utter chaos.

We have checks and balances aplenty in our constitutional government but if fails when the checkers won't do their job.

She thought she was above the law b/c of her skin color - she’s already screamed out that this is only happening to her b/c she’s black.

After this is over, she’ll make the rounds on friendly TV talk shows claiming such, a “racist” system where a “black, especially a black woman, can’t win,” the “deck was stacked against her by White Supremacists like Donald Trump,” and other silly, tired arguments.

There’ll be a book deal in there somewhere too.

Megan Kelly played audio of Mosby screaming and crying after the verdict - it was beautiful to hear.

Her case was certainly kept quiet by the media.

I do not trust the judicial system in this country - all the way up to the Supreme Court.

“.they do not trust her and so she will not be re-elected AG.”

I looked at the comments on closing at a CNN YouTube. Virtually all were along the lines of: “They just don’t want a Proud Black Woman to have sex with a black man! Go Fani!”

If you think the average voter in Atlanta Georgia watched the trial objectively, you are a far more optimistic person than I am!

I think most are missing the most likely path. Judges like to take the path of least resistance. The judge can declare that Wade committed perjury in his divorce proceeding, refer him to the Bar for punishment, and remove him from the case, and declare the case tainted because whether or not Fani was conflicted, Wade absolutely was. He admitted it on the stand. IIRC, Wade also made the grand jury presentations as well. He has a clear interest in the case proceeding, as he and his partners received large sums from Fani hiring him. As such, the Judge doesn’t need to disqualify Fani, he can leave it to the public whether to vote her in again.
Fani can start again, but it would be well after the election, removing the reason for the suit.

okay.........wait. they’re really the same person? I thought you were saying he’s like cut from the same cloth or something. If that’s so, that is really awesome. How do you know they’re one in the same?

“How do you know they’re one in the same?”

MacDougald, I believe wrote a book, and promoted it here under under his “Buckhead” name. Also, after the Bush memo “Rathergate” issue blew up, his name became public and he was recognized for spotting the font errors in the memo. This is all old history and you would have to search for the old 2004 thread to read how it all came down. It was amazing to watch things unfold in real time.

no, I’ll totally take your word for it :) that is a great story and I remember really well the Rathergate saga and how the conservative army, led by BH, broke this fraud wide open. Just like now with Ashleigh M deciding, probably partially out of boredom, to peruse the divorce filings of Wade’s ex. Thank you Jesus for exposing the darkness to light!
