I think most are missing the most likely path. Judges like to take the path of least resistance. The judge can declare that Wade committed perjury in his divorce proceeding, refer him to the Bar for punishment, and remove him from the case, and declare the case tainted because whether or not Fani was conflicted, Wade absolutely was. He admitted it on the stand. IIRC, Wade also made the grand jury presentations as well. He has a clear interest in the case proceeding, as he and his partners received large sums from Fani hiring him. As such, the Judge doesn’t need to disqualify Fani, he can leave it to the public whether to vote her in again.
Fani can start again, but it would be well after the election, removing the reason for the suit.
