Prayers for the family in their time of grief.
Good to hear he was, well is, a Christian.
Absent from the body, present with our LORD.
He can now truly live forever.
Very sad. Did not realize till now how fond I am of Gary Sinise and his acting but especially his work with and for our troops.
and it reminds us, the good do indeed, seem to die young....meanwhile the worse of the human race lives on.....
So sad...
I know that pain well. I’ll say a prayer for the Sinise Family.
+1
Gary has always been one of the good guys in Hollywood. Sounds like his musician son mirrored the father. May he rest in peace.
Rare cancer maybe caused by you know what. Sad in any case. So young.
The link to his tribute to his son is at post 14.
It is just beautiful.
The Sinise family has been dealing with so much.
God bless them and comfort them. 🙏
prayers up for you and the Sinise family
may all be comforted by the Holy Spirit
may all be covered in love
So many get it today, I don’t know why. It’s crazy, something is going on. Just the past 5 years alone I know around 10 people who died from it. My coworkers husband had brain cancer, glioblastoma, in only 2 weeks he went from diagnoses to death, my neighbor had lung cancer and was gone in a month. It’s horrifying.
My heart just breaks for this lovely family. I have loved Gary Sinise in everything he’s acted in, and as a Veteran what he’s done for us is greatly appreciated!
RIP, Mac. Healing prayers up for your family and friends.
A fine epitaph.
“Apollo 13”, I was just thinking of Gary and Bill (and Kevin) the other day and how they made that film, they literally built a foundation that Tom’s overacting could not destroy. Then I watched the “Twisters” trailer and it ain’t nothing without Bill. RIP Mac. RIP Wild Man.
I’m sorry. That is awful. A friend’s husband recently passed from glioblastoma, which he was diagnosed with last year. I was honestly surprised he survived as long as he did due to how aggressive this form of cancer usually is. :(
"after a five-and-a-half year battle with chordoma"
Heartrending. I tried to read all the condolence notes, too; but they are flooding in by the hundreds every few minutes.
Urging all freepers to read Gary’s beautiful message, and to keep Gary and his family in your thoughts and prayers. The entire Sinise family, especially including his late son, have given so generously of their time and talents to support our troops and first responders. May God comfort them beyond imagining.
Sad to lose your son at such a young age.
I love Gary Sinese. His work for our Troops and Veterans is inspiring.
Prayers for strength, comfort, healing, and peace for him and his family.
