Heartrending. I tried to read all the condolence notes, too; but they are flooding in by the hundreds every few minutes.
Urging all freepers to read Gary’s beautiful message, and to keep Gary and his family in your thoughts and prayers. The entire Sinise family, especially including his late son, have given so generously of their time and talents to support our troops and first responders. May God comfort them beyond imagining.
I love Gary Sinese. His work for our Troops and Veterans is inspiring.

So very sad and tragic. I read that his dear wife is battling cancer, as well.
We generously support his foundation ... I encourage others to, also...as they give close to 100% to support our dear veterans, first responders, care givers, etc.

I was sorry to hear this. I had never heard of that type of cancer before, sounds like one of the worst.
Amen! I have Gary’s portrayal of ‘Truman’ on DVD to watch this weekend. He won a Golden Globe or an Emmy for that; can’t remember which.
My heart and my prayers go out to this generous family. They have given so much of themselves.
