It wasn’t Clinton. It was the Republicans in Congress that
forced his hand on that and balanced budgets.
There were some root causes of crime lying before the single parent homes, but I’m sure that didn’t help

What causes crime is something that people do not want to face up to because it means that they are not going to be able to "hug the problem away".
The root cause of crime is the high probability that you will get away with it. In other words that you will not be caught and if caught will not be punished or that the punishment will be light.
This is not a happy thing because it means there is no way to stop criminals then by doling out punishment and that is so mean.
It is however, reality.
And for every kid you have, your welfare payment is reduced. Why should taxpayers have to support their own kids and somebody else’s too, at government gunpoint?
For that matter, welfare recipients don’t get to vote. Why should they be allowed to vote to continue to steal money from the taxpayers?
He will be labeled as a racist in 3...2...1....
That’s not the reason...it’s a cop out. The reason is criminals are scum by nature with or without a father. Millions of young boys have grown up without fathers thanks to WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Middle East, etc. and minuscule number became criminals.
I watched a football game with some friends, and also watched a couple hours of standard, American mainstream TV in the process.
I very rarely watch US MSM/TV/Entertainment over the last 20+ years.
After seeing the commercials, the theme of shows, the highly ideological messaging behind it all, I realized that anyone following “popular culture” to try and negotiate society, create a personal morality, be healthy, or raise children - is being led into disaster.
We used to have lots of them. Won't say they were perfect but did the kids there, on the average, turn out worse than under the current system? Might be cheaper than foster care with economies of scale. Treat them like the nuns of old did. Use demonstrated child abuse or neglect (eg. stealing kid's welfare for her consumption) to justify it. If the single, no longer actively 'Mom', woman can get her act together enough to support the kids she might be able to get them back.
Fathers tend to be the primary source of discipline for young boys that step outside the boundaries set by their parents. Mom saying “wait ‘til your father gets home” was a fearful thing for young boys who had broken a rule. Take that away and boys will run wild, and grow into vicious animals.
It is. But say that about the black community and you will be driven from society.
Single moms have absolute power over their children. Many of them enjoy absolute power.
Remember, absolute power corrupts.
In addition, many single moms lack emotional stability.
My uncle loaned his maid to my mom who was running his donut shop while I was home bound (in bed) after a long hospital stay.

My mom asked the black maid, Helga, why she didn’t make her kids’ father marry her and give them a name?
“Oh no, miss Strong, if I do that I’ll lose my welfare”. I still remember that conversation.
Her baby-daddy didn’t work.
The company I worked for in the early 70’s sent several of us out to the Heights (black neighborhood) to hand out applications.
The black girl I was paired with laughed at me and said “none of these niggers want a job”

That’s the truth, so that’s racist.
Yes Clinton was pressured, but he did it and sold it to the country and it was probably the only positive thing he did.
He did sign it, but that’s as far as I’ll go.
