Well, you know how sometimes the weather can turn on a dime and surprise us. I was hoping it would do that there and give you a pretty day for a change. What a relief that it’s not going to be snowing and mess up the dinner. I know all of you have been looking forward to it.
Our highs are going to be in the 50s for the rest of the week. At least till Saturday. But that’s not awful, considering what we’ve had in past years about this time. I’ll take it!

We’ll have a little blue sky tomorrow but clouds come back Wednesday with a little chance for rain. Just not going to be a pretty week in general. The good thing is there’s no snow in the forecast.
Yes, the get-together at the museum will be fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
I talked to Da Boss this evening and I’ll be going up on the 20th, when there’ll be two large groups for tours.

That’s awesome that you’ll get to have a couple of tours before long. Got to keep in practice for the next “season”, huh!
I think I’m going to finish this show and hit the pillows. I was up WAY too late last night and I’m fading fast. See ya tomorrow for the quiz!

I’m not taking both groups through. There’ll be three of us there because one group will be large enough, we need to split them into two groups. And the third person will take the other group. There’ll be a nice crowd in there. :-)
Da Boss said they’ve added a few new displays since we closed in Nov. and I’m looking forward to checking those out Saturday. It’s going to be a fun day all around.
Sleep well. Catch ya tomorrow.

Good morning and good night Ma ((HUGS))
We did our walk and then some R&R before dinner as it was a drizzly day.
Hope you enjoyed your first day of the New Year.

Mornin’, beachie!
I don’t know about busy but there’s a little fun ahead this month. With luck, I’ll get to go up to the museum a few more times between now and when we re-open in April.
Just sat down to turn the computer off and took one more peek at FR. Just in time to catch you before I head off to dreamland. I hope it isn’t too frigid for your morning walk!

Hey there, Early Birds!
Is this how you feel after the celebrations?
Me? Nah. I was lazy as usual.
It was fun spending it here, though!
Hope all y'all have a Terrific Tuesday!
It's cloudy and drizzly here. My fave!

Sergeant York - The Odd Destiny of America’s Greatest WWI Hero
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jncwJtQyh7o
How did a pacifist farmer from Tennessee become the greatest American hero of the First World War? Convinced by his pastor to enlist, Alvin York fights in Argonne & receives the highest honors, such as the Medal of Honor & Croix de Guerre, for his exploits.
On the same day, not far from Argonne, the infantryman Joseph Oklahombi performs an exceptional feat of arms by taking 171 German soldiers as prisoners. Being a Native American from the Choctaw tribe in Oklahoma โ who were not recognized as American citizens at that time but invited to enlist all the same โ he never received the Medal of Honor.
Without ever meeting, these two men become the symbol of courage that young American volunteers showed in WWI. A hundred years later, both fates deserve a spotlight in our collective memory of WWI.
