The Biden administration has told Israel that attacks intentionally or inadvertently against Lebanon’s armed forces are “unacceptable” over fears that the conflict in the Middle East could expand, according to a report.
US officials believe that since Oct. 7 at least 34 Israeli strikes have hit areas where members of the Lebanese Armed Forces were present, resulting in eight injuries and one death, CNN reported Friday.

Can Israel or LAF separate Hezbollah? And is LAF = Hezbollah? The US should be helping to resolve that, not criticize Israel. As a terrorist group, Hezbollah should be disarmed, disbanded, or killed.

No, there are real issues. Along with the Palestinians the formation of Israel lead the expulsion of many Christian residents of the region. Northern Israel had many Christian villages that were bulldozed by the Israeli army after 1948.
Then in the Lebanese Civil War the Israelis and Christians were allied against the PLO and Hezbollah, but the Israelis betrayed the alliance by making an attempt to seize southern Lebanon.
