The House, in a decisive vote Thursday, passed the annual defense authorization bill, delivering a bipartisan rebuke to its most conservative members who had sought to infuse the legislation with a wishlist of provisions targeting Pentagon policies on abortion, diversity and LGBTQ+ rights.
The $886 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was approved by a vote of 310-118, having passed the Senate by an overwhelming margin Wednesday night. It proceeds next to the White House, where President Biden is expected to sign the legislation into law.

When the Organic-Constitutional Republic is restored, NO BILL should ever be longer than the Constitution itself.
“A vote for this bill is a perpetuation of the woke policies undermining our military, bringing down the morale driving down recruiting and now undermining the civil liberties of the American people,” Rep. Chip Roy
“With this NDAA conference report you almost feel like a parent who’s sent a child off to summer camp, and they’ve come back a monster,” said Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.). “That’s what we’ve done. This bill came back in far worse shape.”
118 good guys.
Fund transfers complete!
Not a chance, if I were 18 again, would I join the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (bullsh*t) US military of today.
Tired of losing yet? We’ve pretty much have lost the war, and we continue to lose most battles.
My increasingly liberal GOP Rep (Tom Emmer, MN) voted for this crap.
His campaign offices are right next door to my gym.
We need our own party. We need a MAGA party. The GOP will always betray us. The GOP always does betray us. Only fools will continue to allow this situation to continue. Are you a fool?
So they passed a defense bill that funds Drag Queen shows, genital mutilation and abortions including travel expenses. They call the amendment to defund that
BS “right wing fringe”..
Silver lining : the FISA provisions have to be renewed again in about 16 weeks. Hopefully the GOP will have agreed on new restrictions by then
I’ve been saying this for a while, Once the vote was bastardized, the minute hesitation that Members of Congress had in fear of the constituency VANASHED. They no longer represent “the People,” they represent the donors and themselves.
Are you French by any chance?
So we passed the defense bill. I find that pretty obvious.
Why should we not have passed it?
After all, I hope there is not one single Republican in America willing to abolish America’s army!
Those who are against funding America’s army are also probably pushing the “Defund the Police” hysteria.
Long live America’s army and the funding that goes with it!
May the neo-woke Republicans once again support our military. One day maybe....
Gaetz is a jackass. Nothing changed and the dumocrats are closer to controlling the house again. He should join their caucus and make it official.
Do you support the 4th amendment or the deep state?
You first pinhead.
Friggin’ GOOBers gave in to the communists AGAIN. Damned cowards. DemocRATS call them the best hos in town.
Consider good cops and bad cops, controlled opposition and all. There are 118 today because some faction is needed to keep us potentially thinking we have someone in power sympathetic to the Constitution and We the People.
At this point, as I said, "ALL. OF. THEM.".
However, pushed on this point, I'd say maybe 12 are good guys. Good guys caught up in a corrupted bad system, bastardized Constitution. Deep Staters owing ALL allegiance to the UNITED STATES CORP.
I want Americas army to function. Period.
The world is at war. Our Israeli allies are at war. Terrorism is on the rise, our border is insecure. Now is NOT the time to f... around with the existence of United Stated Military.
We need to keep it funded.
The Deep State in Russia (run by the Kremlin) want America’s army defunded. I, and the vast majority of Americans want Americas army funded.
