Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) is pushing a ban on AR-15s by focusing on their gas operation system approximately 64 years after the gun’s design included such a system.
Breitbart News reported that Sen. Angus King (I-ME) and a group of Senate Democrats, including Kelly, introduced an AR-15 ban early Thursday. In so doing, they used new catchphrases such as “lethal capacity weapons” and “gas-operated semiautomatic.
Later Thursday, Kelly posted a video on X in which he continued to emphasize the new catchphrases by explaining that this latest attempt to ban AR-15s and similar rifles “focuses on the lethality of their internal mechanisms.”

I have never seen anyone milk a tragedy like Mark Kelly.
Way back then Mark Kelly was milking, milking, milking every single morning on TV.
By about the 3rd time I saw him it was painfully obvious.
I thought, 🤔 who can be fooled by this guy? 🤔
But there is Manchurian Candidate Barack Hussein Obama too.
Mark Kelly himself is gas operated. LOTSA gas there.
One thing Mr. Kelly isn’t realizing...every vehicle that ever used a piston is gas operated. The hot expanding gasses of the ignition of the fuel / air mixture uses those gasses to drive the piston downward. Is he going to seek to bad internal combustion engines too?
For that matter, how could he have ridden a rocket into space, as rockets are GAS OPERATED!!

We saw this in Canada.
First the Liberals banned direct impingement semi-autos. The gun lobby tried to argue they were no different than pushrod activation.
Then a couple years later, the Liberals said pushrod semi autos are just the same and benned them as well.
And their urban idiot voters said fine: you are punishing people we hate, so we don’t care about the details.

10/22 is great but not gas operated.
I just converted my AR to solar. Sunshine and spent casings. Makes for a wonderful day
10/22 is recoil operated. But with a short trigger pull you can rattle off a bunch of rounds in a hurry.
Maybe mark Kelly can pilot amazons space ship/rocket on its next flight test.
There're also gluten free and qualify as vegan approved as they do not include any animal by products.
