I need Thy presence every passing hour.
What but Thy grace can foil the tempter's power?
Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be?

Hello;
I have been told that there will be a memorial service for Rodney, likely in January. The regular pastor/minister is not there temporarily and they want him to preside. I have not seen an obituary.
His son is planning on going down for the service. It has been a rough week for him. I am sad he did not get to see him.
Anything I can answer, I will. But, I am not really privy to much. I am just glad he is not suffering any longer.
Thank you for helping share with the Freepers. He had so many friends here and he thought of FR as a home.<<<<

It was a shock to us all.

This is what we know about services as of now. ozaukeemom is trying to find out which church the memorial will be held in:

“The memorial service will be December 17. I know the church is in Canfield Ohio.”

Keep praying for strength, comfort and courage for his grieving family, y’all. Our mylife is missed so much!

Thanks, Rita! We were good friends and went on a lot of trips together with “our” group. He was a hoot and a wonderful navy sub vet.
