The Army Suddenly, and Chaotically, Told Hundreds of Soldiers They Have to Be Recruiters Immediately

Without warning, hundreds of noncommissioned officers were ordered via email to report to the recruiting school at Fort Knox, Kentucky, in less than a week, with hundreds more set to start at the school in December -- a sudden unexpected move by the Army as the service scrambles to boost its recruiting force by 800 by the end of the year.

The orders came after a breakdown in how the Army tracks how many recruiters it has coming through the pipeline along with retention of existing ones, according to Lt. Gen. Douglas Stitt, the Army's top personnel officer. The sudden depletion of recruiters caught Army planners flat-footed, with officials unable to provide a clear explanation as to what went wrong. Now, NCOs will likely have to move during the holiday season and in the middle of the school year, sowing chaos for families.

"Given the six-day heads up, we have zero time to plan child care," one noncommissioned officer told Military.com on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media. "We can barely find and afford child care during the week as it is, so now my wife may end up having to quit her job entirely because it is impossible to find on the weekend."

The Army has roughly 10,000 recruiters, but that force has been bleeding troops over the past year. The 800 emergency recruiting students will allow the service to maintain its numbers. Recruiters have reported to Military.com in recent months of working longer hours and, in some cases, getting fired for missing quotas.

I wonder if they’ll target the illegals. All seem to be fit and of military age, no family.

That would be my bet. They will offer "a path to citizenship" to reel them in. Plus, room and board and a small paycheck. Beats starving in Houston or Chicago or New York, or San Diego. But they will be competing with organized criminal gangs that can offer a whole lot more money and excitement.

It will be a tough sell, and they will get only the dregs of the illegal immigrant population. People too stupid and incapable of joining a gang, plus a few sharpies who want the free training and weapons experience.

But the new recruits won't need to worry about going to war. Hot wars are where the rulers will send the legacy white males to die in faraway actions under rules of engagement that guarantee failure. I believe that is intentional, as such people are seen as the biggest threat to the oligarchy.

I note that the FBI currently and officially considers "White Supremist Groups" as the first priority "domestic terrorist threat" in America right now. They have written any number of policy documents to that effect, and most of them are still publicly available.

The authorities will use the new troops for enforcing controls over the native population as things get dicey. It should be easy to push around unarmed civilians and take their stuff.

Err, wait a minute there. I think I forget something. Maybe several things. I expect we are going to find out what they are.

I could not find the story on military.com, and I must question the statement that the Army has ten thousand recruiters.

This will ruin a lot of NCOs careers. They will give them impossible targets, manage the hell out of them, and then give them bad performance reviews when they can lie or deceive enough to reach their quotas.

I miss being in the navy, but there is no way I would do it again with this regime.

When they receive an order, they have to obey it.

True dat. But forcing people against their will to be your first line salesmen probably is not a good idea. It appears they are having trouble getting people to stay in the Army, and they are having trouble getting volunteers to be Army salesmen.

That reeks of Army bullcrap. Recruiters go to school first. The only tracking needed is to check how many members are in the school. That is the pipeline. They should know if they have a school that is half-empty.

The military was a safe haven for normal people.

The military now does not know what happened.

It really isn’t mensa material to figure it out.

The reason you will not see conscription is because of feminists.

Originally women were not subject to the draft because they were ineligible for combat roles. Now they are. Therefore a draft which does not include women is unconstitutionally discriminatory.

Trans soldiers have to be near their doctors stateside because surgery and follow up can take two to three years. So someone else has to do the fighting...

please sign up and fight for a sexual weirdo ...

And while you’re at it brush up on why all white people are racists... it’ll give you an edge in the new WOKE military insanity...

sign up for people who live within a constant self serving pity party because YOU exist. Fight for their right to resent you and sign up your friends.

Step two? They’ll recruit illegals willing to turn on the American people...

“I would never tell my children its a good thing to join the military.”

Understood. We honor our veterans for their service, but patriotism no longer dictates an endorsement of the American military complex.

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”—Obama (2008)

He’s kind of right. That civilian national security force is called the “militia” in the Constitution.

So tell anyone who asks, rather than joining the military, join the militia. We need it to be “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

It happened in the Marine Corps in the early 90s to a particular MOS. Headquarters Marine Corps lost track of the promotions that were needed to retain Marines during promotion boards, resulting in fully qualified Marines getting separated because they didn’t pick up rank within a prescribed period of time. If you were passed over twice for Staff Sergeant, you were out. So an entire group of highly-skilled technicians were slaughtered, by no fault of their own.

It cost the taxpayers millions of dollars and the ending of many young careers. So it can happen.

Oh yeah, and no one was disciplined.

The one thing I’m certain of is that the Army has put 800 more recruiters who are likely unmotivated and not highly trained at finding the kind of candidates needed. I foresee an increase in enlistments, but one with a lot more ‘exemptions and waivers’ requested.
