Decades ago I spent three years writing The Samson Option (1991), an exposé of the unstated policy of American presidents going back to Dwight Eisenhower to look the other way as Israel began the process of building an atomic bomb. The right or wrong for Israel, in the aftermath of the Holocaust, was not the point of the book. My point was that what America was doing was known throughout the Third World, as it was then called, and our duplicity made our worries about the spread of nuclear weapons another example of American hypocrisy. Since then others have undertaken far more comprehensive studies, as some of the most highly classified Israeli and US documents have become public.

Every blogger wants to declare something so they seem in-the-know so they can sell advertising from clicks to their blog.
Every blogger says the most outlandish things to do this, and they use teaser titles to get those click, words like “this” and “that” and “trick” are used, never being specific in the titles so people become curious and click to read their blog.
They also use unnamed sources, like this blog entry did.

Yes. Seymour Hersch has always been a CIA mouthpiece. His description totally omits the role of senior Israeli military and intelligence people obsessed with preventing and then overthrowing the democratically elected Netanyahu government, and doing it with the American Deep State’s cover and financing. Those military and intelligence people were completely negligent.
Even former Leftist Israeli PMs Ehud Olmert and Ehud Barak have been openly seditious, advocating disruption and violence.
