A counter-protest has erupted in New York City's Times Square after pro-Palestinian groups gathered to rally - just one day after terrorist organization Hamas attacked Israel, leaving hundreds of civilians dead.
Demonstrators waving Israeli flags clashed with placard-clad protesters - who rallied together at 1pm on Sunday in Manhattan's Midtown. New York is the city with the largest Jewish population in the world.
'How can you support this! ******* murderers!' one man screamed - as a raucous group of around 300 people chanted 'free Palestine' during the demo.
As the Palestinian faction in Times Square swelled, a group of Israeli protesters began to form - waving flags in retaliation from behind a metal fence.
One man charged towards the Palestinian group but was immediately intercepted and escorted away by a cop. There is a heavy NYPD presence at the scene.
So far, protesters have gathered with megaphones and yellow signs reading: 'Resistance against occupation is a human right' and 'end all US aid to apartheid Israel'.
Demonstrators planned to take over Times Square - the social and symbolic epicenter of New York - just one day after Israeli women and children were dragged from their homes and slaughtered by Palestinian militants.
American citizens are among the dead and captured, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said. The total number of fatalities has reached 900.
On Sunday, protesters waving Palestinian flags on 42nd Street chanted: 'From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.'

Let’s Go, Brandon!
ALL of this, I lay at his feet! @#$%^&*! *SPIT*
I wouldn’t cry if Muj protestors got monkey stomped. The only decent muj I’ve ever met were Kurds.
All Hamas wants to do was slaughter as many people as possible
“One man charged towards the Palestinian group but was immediately intercepted and escorted away by a cop.”
Suddenly, but suddenly, the NYPD is able to do its job. Wow, wonder why that happened all of a sudden?
>> pro-Palestinian groups gathered to rally - just one day after terrorist organization Hamas attacked Israel, leaving hundreds of civilians dead
and likely Jew haters that have no regard for Palestinians. Sick
300 protesters. No mention of the number of counter protesters in the city with the most Jews in the world. These people need the cops more than the counterprotestors.
What does everyone recommend as good sources of information in /about Israel?
I plan to get in their face when they march in SF with my massive Israeli flag.
Contrary to a favorite FR talking point, most secular, liberal American Jews are fiercely pro-Israel. (I know, I've lived in NYC and L.A., and worked in the media.) They also make up a large chunk of the Democrat's donor base.
But most of the hardcore street activist base (BLM, Antifa, Occupy, etc.) is fiercely anti-Israel.
As long as the focus is on Trump, migrants, white Christians, BLM, trannies, etc., all is well. But when Israel v. Palestine becomes an issue, the Dem's donor base and activist base fissure.
At such times, the Dem leaders desperately seek another crisis or issue around which Democrats can unite.
I don’t know if he’s ‘the best’ for what you want, but I find Steve Lookner at Agenda Free Tv (youtube) to be very useful and dilligent on events like this. He just did a 10-hour stream taking news from many different sources:

Don't forget to include TraitorBlinken, TraitorMayorkas, TraitorSecDefComPoop, and the other traitors in the TraitorJoe kakistocracy.
DemoRats vs DemoRats. One big unhappy dysfunctional family.
Be careful there. There will be many bad ones about. Maybe bad cops too.
> These were fans of the Celtic soccer club in Glasgow. <
Glasgow has the highest percentage of Muslims in Scotland. At least 5% of the city’s population is Muslim. That’s plenty of people to cause trouble and spread propaganda.
They are also tied to the IRA, and we know the IRA and Palis go way back.
A group of 300 in Times Square is barely noticeable. Good!
How many counter-demonstrators were there? I skimmed the article and nowhere is that even discussed.
