Following the grand tradition and precedent by former NY Senator Hillary Clinton and Utah Senator Mitt Romney.

Rules are meant for the ruled.

Is there a law in California that says its Representatives or Senators have to be citizens of the state?

I’m pretty sure Georgia doesn’t and that’s how the House ended up with Lucy McBath, who was living in Chattanooga, I think.

Same goes for Ossoff, who ran for a state seat. State Senate, I think and didn’t live in the district. And no one in Georgia cared. And he almost won.

She has a house in California and changed her voter registration to her California address.

As long as that is the case before she takes the oath of office, I don’t think there is a law to prevent her becoming a senator representing California.

Everyone’s missing the point in that this is just the continuation of purging Whites from government and inevitably from society itself. This woman has zero qualifications, she is a leftist stooge, she has no understanding of the Constitution or the concerns of Legacy Americans. All she’s going to do is rubber-stamp the leftist agenda.

Jump to… Board of Directors Laphonza Butler is the president of EMILYs List. She was elected to this position at just 30 years old, one of the youngest to take on this role. As president, Butler was the leading voice, strategist, and architect of efforts to address pay inequity for women in California and a top advocate for raising the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour – the first state in the nation to do so, benefiting millions of working women in low wage jobs. That effort also gave hundreds of thousands of home workers access to paid time off. She also served as an SEIU International Vice President and President of the SEIU California State Council. Laphonza grew up in Magnolia, MS, and attended one of the country’s premier HBCUs, Jackson State University. She lives in Maryland with her partner Neneki Lee and their daughter Nylah.

Where does she pay state taxes?

If she has a Maryland house does she claim it as her primary residence to get a reduced property tax for homestead exemption?

Figure this out and you figure out residency

The commies don't recognize a national boundary, why should they recognize any state boundaries?

I'm afraid we've crossed the line and we're beyond accomplishing a successful revolution.

Once again, politics just creeps along and I perceive (SOMEONE CHANGE MY MIND) we are not going to be able to save our beloved America.

Feinstein and company will be gone soon enough, but there are too many young buck and buckettes on the firing line.
