It’s a simple math problem at that. One that you can quickly do in your head. Just remember this technology has not gone through the trouth of disillusionment. We are at peak hype right now.

My understanding is that if you are on the same version of ChatGPT the outputs received are not a result of learning globally over time. All of its output to a user is a result of data from a certain point in time, plus what the specific user puts into it. IOW, this is a result of behind the scenes tweaking by the people in charge of ChatGPT. Whatever they are doing (and they increasingly censoring it and making it more PC) is also having unintended/intended effect of making it even worse at responding to math problems.
Diverse math answers makes us stronger. Ebononomics.
