McCaskill: DeSantis ‘Unelectable’ Because Most of Americans Love Someone LGBTQ
Breitbart ^ | 07/05/2023 | Pam Key

MSNBC political analyst Claire McCaskill said Wednesday on “Deadline” that 2024 hopeful Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was “way out of step” with most of Americans views on LGBTQ issues because they have a loved one in that group.

Guest anchor Ayman Mohideen asked, “The DeSantis campaign rapid response director tried to downplay the criticism by saying that opposing pride month isn’t homophobic because, and I quote, ‘We wouldn’t support a month to celebrate straight people for sexual orientation either. It is unnecessary and divisive pandering,’ which is what we’ve heard from racists when you want to talk about celebrating black history month. We don’t have a month to celebrate white history. What are these attempts to mask his homophobia really tell us about Ron DeSantis?”

“McCaskill: DeSantis ‘Unelectable’ Because Most of Americans Love Someone LGBTQ”

She’s right about DeSantis being ‘unelectable’, but for the wrong reason. The reason he can never win in November is because his Globalist connections make him look far too much like Jeb 2.0, rather than Trump 2.0.

In any case, Vivek is now at 10%, with DeSantis at 16%, so Vivek may soon be eclipsing DeSantis, as Vivek, so far, has now shown nearly as much Globalist blood.

DeSantis is Deep State.

That’s all that matters.

Don’t include me in the “most Americans.” group!

I consider that group as abominable and have nothing to do with them.

You are correct. It is obvious that the sexual perverts are the main killers.

I do think it’s true that there are a large number of people, including conservatives, who dearly love someone gay. My circle of gay friends don’t include anyone who would march in a gay pride parade. As far as I know. They’re the ordinary people in this world - some with ordinary jobs, some at the top of their professional field. And I love them the same way I love my straight friends.

Trans? That’s different. That’s a mental illness. Two of my intensely close friends have grandchildren that are trans. At that announcement, the conversation stops. But the love for my friend doesn’t.

Does it affect my voting? To some extent. I don’t vote for extremists of any belief structure. A liberal hung up on celebrating their gayness won’t get my vote unless they’re also celebrating the diversity of conservative thinking. Admittedly not a large candidate pool.

Trump? He walks a perfect line on the matter for me.

I have alphabets in my extended family. My aunt, after four failed marriages, settled down with another woman. We got along fine. I think the reason we did was that they weren’t militant about it. Both were just looking for companionship more than anything and had had trauma in their past. I did love them as family. I have others in my extended family who are out and militant about it. Funny enough, the one I figured would be out by now isn’t, but his sister is. Single mom. Divorced her husband (my cousin) and was a real man-hater. Them I have no love for.

Same happened with women’s lib and black is beautiful. My suspicion is that the ambition to be on top of the stack is universal and hides underneath the desire for equality. I was big into women’s lib as it headed toward equality of opportunity and left when they didn’t want men treated equally in divorce and making decisions about pregnancies. I’m of an age where I wasn’t allowed to do Planetarium lectures because the audience supposedly wouldn’t accept the authority of a woman’s voice in the dark.

Yeah, I doubt that, and even if so - how many of them want minors going to live sex shows, being shown porn in school, etc? How many so-called "LGBTQs" even want that?

All lies all the time. The public is being told Republicans want to outlaw Mrs. Doubtfire, Madea, etc. The Democrats and the media just blatantly lie about what is going on.

What McCaskill means by “love” is not sexual love, but agape or an appreciation/respect for another person’s otherness. That kind of love includes a lot of family — brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, you name it.

If someone in your own family is gay, you have to come to grips with it. Do you continue to love that person or do you tell them: “Don’t come for Thanksgiving Dinner?”

Acceptance doesn’t mean you approve by the way.

Remember what Jesus said when people were ready to maim/kill Mary Magdalene, “Those who have no sins, cast the first stone”.

Pete Buttigeig got 2.5% of the Democrat primary votes in 2020 which is probably much higher than he would have gotten from Republican and Independent voters. Some women are really bad at math.

There may be Americans who love someone who is LGBTQ, but most likely not because that certain someone is LGBTQ.
