Both Trump and DeSantis tied for first place with 41 percent support each in their home state. No other potential candidate came close. Pence fell 38 percent points behind with three percent support. Christie, Ramaswamy, and Haley came one point behind with two percent support, and zero percent supported Elder, Hutchinson, and Scott.
Overall, eight percent of Florida GOP voters are “not sure” who they would support.
Notably, 71 percent chose DeSantis as their first-choice candidate, compared to 57 percent who said the same of Trump. When asked who would be their second-choice candidate, 30 percent said DeSantis, followed by 16 percent who said Trump, 13 percent who said Scott, 11 percent who said Pence, and ten percent who said Ramaswamy.

Not surprising at all. State by state polls are what really counts - but it’s way too early to put stock in ANY poll.
Ha ha ha ha ha oh please stop my sides hurt.
Laughable
Their last poll had Desantis up 45.
Now Trump is tied.
It’s not the good news you think it is.
Desantis as no shot he’s Liz Cheney...need to know it now before you are let down.
This just Breitbart showing how they have been infiltrated again. They support probably just about the only poll that Shows Trump is not way ahead.
I don’t buy it.
(me neither!!)
Ha, maybe on the East coast but not here in my little neck of the woods on the West coast. I have seen maybe two DeSantis yard signs but everywhere there are TRUMP flags. Don’t get me wrong, I love DeSantis as my gov but he’s not ready for prime time yet. And the more he plays the ‘attack Trump’ game, the less I want to listen to him.
Never heard of Sachs Media who did the poll.
Since when is Breitbart anti-Trump?
Sooks like a PR firm based in FLA.
Their website mentions nothing about polling.

Probably a play to play company.
You pay, we play.
Not a single one of these links leads to Breakthrough Research’s actual polling. No topline, nothing. Put up or stfu.
DeSantis has never held an office where there wasn't a Republican majority. He's had a 2-1 Republican majority in the State Legislature since he was elected. During his time in Congress, Republicans held the majority in the House. He's never had to face a Democrat majority ever. Congress and State Legislatures are two different ballgames. Historically, when Republicans are in the majority in Congress, they squander their opportunity to get any meaningful legislation passed. They "go along to get along" with the Democrats. We've already seen it this year, and it's been that way for many years. Why would it be any different with DeSantis in the White House? He's no miracle worker.
DeSantis should be thanking President Trump for endorsing him when he ran against Gillum. As it is, he barely won. Had Florida's historic voter fraud kicked in, Gillum would have been sitting in the Governor's office. DeSantis is an ingrate. Less than six months after the people of Florida trusted him enough to give him a second term, he turned his back on them, and threw his hat in the Presidential Ring. He didn't just decide to do that a month ago, or two months ago. He had it planned before he even ran for re-election last year. He even made sure that the "Resign to Run" law was changed on the day he announced his candidacy for President, so he wouldn't have to resign to run for President. He's made sure he'll still have a job after he crashes and burns. Pretty self-serving if you ask me. Rino Charlie Crist did the same thing. Rick Scott reversed it when he was elected Governor.
So we have 128% who picked either Trump or DeSantis as their “first-choice candidate”???
Posting polls is like posting a picture of every tennis ball hit in a match game.
They go everywhere, in both directions and the only one that matters is the final one.
Twenty Republicans voted with Democrats to kill motion to censure Adam Schiff
Why don’t you buy it? Florida just re-elected DeSantis by 20 points.
