The Washington Post and The New York Times knew from the beginning that the purported Russia “collusion” story — the assertion that Donald Trump conspired with Russia to interfere in the 2016 presidential election — was a hoax,
...
WaPo and the NYT garnered Pulitzer Prizes — the most prestigious award in American journalism — for their “deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage” of the Democrat-pushed hoax. Uh-huh. Deeply sourced from the likes of thoroughly discredited former FBI director, James Comey and others.
Moreover, both formerly-respected papers refuse to return the Pulitzers, following the release of the damning Durham Report, which concluded: “Neither U.S. nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”
Even worse, a WaPo spokesperson told Daily Mail the paper “stands by its reporting,” and absurdly insisted the report didn’t discredit its coverage of the crock-of-crap lies it continually sucked down — hook, line, and sinker. The New York Times ignored Daily Mail’s requests for comment.
...
the left-wing media sock puppets not only knew they were being lied to; they loved every lying minute of it.
Amid calls for both outlets to return their Pulitizers in the wake of the Durham Report, their refusal to do so should surprise precisely no one; the smug gall is quintessential leftism in (non)-action
...
Ted Cruz (Texas) were among Republicans calling on the discredited papers to return the Pulitzers.
...
Cruz slammed both papers “for breathlessly spreading these ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ lies.”
In response to the release of the Durham Report, the FBI frantically released a statement, somewhere between revisionist history and outright lying:

Does anyone believe these newspapers? They are propaganda for the left.
Of course they don’t.
Mission accomplished.
Their goal was to undermine Trump’s (or any Republican’s) presidency and get him OUT OF OFFICE.
Which they did. The executive power is now in the hands of a Democrat and his appointed minions.
Mission accomplished. And they were rewarded for it.
They won a Pullet Surprise!.....................
They’re proud of them.
Walter Duranty (25 May 1884 – 3 October 1957) was an Anglo-American journalist who served as Moscow bureau chief of The New York Times for fourteen years (1922–1936) following the Bolshevik victory in the Russian Civil War (1917–1923).In 1932, Duranty received a Pulitzer Prize for a series of reports about the Soviet Union, eleven of which were published in June 1931. He was later criticized for his subsequent denial of the widespread famine (1930–1933) in the USSR, most particularly the Holodomor. Beginning in 1990, there were calls for the Pulitzer board to revoke Duranty's prize. The Pulitzer Board declined to revoke the award and in 2003 said the articles which it examined in making the award did not contain "clear and convincing evidence of deliberate deception"
It can't be that prestigious if they hand them out for lying to Americans. Unless they are now being honest and awarding journalists who commit the best lies and the most egregious fraud for their leftist activist cause.
They offending newspaper should file a lawsuit against the Clinton Foundation for reparations.

These people are worse than a golfer cheating to win the tournament. He knows he cheated and yet took the trophy anyway.
But again, these are democRATS, lying, cheating and deception is what they do.
They need a bullet surprise, actually.
It’s not a prestigious prize. It could be if the prizes were rescinded by the Pulitzer organization.
The
They effectively gave them to themselves. The Pulitzer board is not an independent objective body. It is part of the social bubble of elite media people, and Columbia J-school, which feeds them new personnel, plus revolving door professorships.
Pulitzer prizes for investigative journalism.
If there was no valid information to find, how did the NYT and WaPo find information to write the stories/articles? The answer is they didn’t find any information and they didn’t do any independent investigations. And as such, the stories and articles were nothing more than pablum.
But then again, recent history shows that pablum is what you get from both of them . . .
The Pulitzer is defined by activism, not accuracy. If anything it should be a shame to win one.
why should they return their pulitzer propaganda awards?
