The Drudge Report, Matt Drudge’s right-leaning news aggregator ran a headline on Friday declaring former President Donald Trump threatened Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg in a Thursday Truth Social post, which Trump deleted on Friday afternoon.

The news organization an article and posted that image with the article. Trump posted the article. The software automatically posted the image in the article with it.
The image posted by the news organization was not considered a threat. I didn’t see anyone ask the news organization to be prosecuted. Suddenly, after Trump posted the article with the image, the image became a threat. Trump removed the post the next day.

It has nothing to do with liking or disliking Trump. Look at the screenshot of his post. Was that a wise thing to post or not? Maybe it doesn’t matter, just another Trump drama in the media that will be forgotten when the next one comes along.

No one is trying “make him look bad”. Fact: he posted that image from National File. Make of it what you will, good, bad, indifferent. If you think it makes Trump look bad, then that’s your take on it. Trump posted it — it’s on him whether it looks good or bad to you.
