Deep State knew what they were doing when they unleashed COVID on the world. They knew it was the best way to “Get Trump”.

He was cruising to re-election before that.

Good one! Trump might go with that one.

Our opponents actions (which can be demonstrated empirically) are so insanely egregious that Trump’s “mean tweet” should not even be on the table for discussion.

Notice we have not yet even discussed the clear evidence that bad people are trying everything they can, completely outside the law or the constitution, to persecute this individual. Most investigated human in history, and they got NOTHING. Best they can use is tell us he says mean things, and it makes the poor commies snot up. And we accept that as a valid critique. While they say truly horrific and egregious things. Call us cockroaches that need to be exterminated.

Hopefully you and I don’t find ourselves debating this in Gulag. I trust were that to happen I would be considered the winner by default XD.

” He claims he asked WEF not to name him as a promising young leader and refused to accept the reward.”

I don’t know anything about a reward/award. I did see an image of the WEF list, though — about a month ago, I guess.

“If he made anti-MAGA posts, surely there are screenshots or archives?”

Maybe there are some if someone was prescient enough to realize they might come in handy at some point in time. I myself don’t know.

I actually like all I’ve heard from him. I just would like to learn more about his history.

Same here. Still checking him out. So far, promising, but I haven’t been looking into him for very long, or looking all that hard yet. I’m on the fence right now.

DeSantis lost me after his latest on Ukraine. His earlier stance was more statesman like — by characterizing it as a regional conflict, he made it possible for him broker a peace deal if elected. Nearly all wars end with some sort of peace agreement, but the insistence on regime change, calling Putin a war criminal, and claiming the reputation of NATO and future of Western civilization hangs on total military victory for Ukraine takes that off the table.

Trump will turn 78 next year. Right now, he appears healthy and I wish him many more years of health, also happiness. But we have to be realistic, too. Even if one is all in on Trump, if he develops a health problem that precludes his running, one needs to be aware of other candidates who might prove good or at least acceptable.

Alvin Bragg, is that you?

All that said, Ramaswamy is a new kid on the block with no real political experience. I see him more as someone to watch and as someone who can perhaps contribute to a successful platform for whoever is the nominee — not that I think he can actually win the nomination in 2024, nor even that he should.

One of the things I liked about DeSantis was his experience as a successful governor which is a real strength. He has already learned how to hire and keep competent loyal staff, learned to work with state legislature, etc. All the same strengths Reagan brought to his tenure as President.

I am interested in the business he started, “Strive”.

In his interview with Jordan Peterson, he explained he founded Strive to counter ESG and offer an alternative:

It’s a mark in his favor that he actually takes constructive action rather than just running his mouth. I like that about him.

I’m amazed so many here got taken by this.

Trump was pointing out how vicious the left is.

So sad to see.

2 pics put together by leftist media and dozens of freepers think Trump created it.

No, Freepers weren’t “taken in” — whoever created it, Trump chose to post it on his TS account. Whether you think he displayed good judgment when he chose to do so is up to you.

Do you really consider National File to be leftwing? See my post #64 for screenshot of his TS post:

He posted a link from National File and that’s how their preview looks. It would look the same if I would post it on twitter. The poster has no control over the preview pictures National File chooses.

Surely he knew how the preview would look, same as you do. He didn’t exactly start posting on TS yesterday. He knew those images would appear on his post. And he chose to do it.

Even if somehow, some way, Trump did not know this in advance(!), he certainly could see how his TS post looked as soon as he posted it. If he did not want those images there, he could have deleted the post right away.

There is no getting around his choosing to post those images. Whether you think that choice was good, bad or indifferent is up to you.

He might not have seen it. I sometimes write a comment on free republic, post it, then close the window and open another program.

Some people will make excuses for him no matter what. The man is running for President of the United States. He and his staff know his every post is scrutinized. He made the post on Thursday, and it stayed up until he deleted on Friday afternoon. Something is very wrong if Trump and none of his staff noticed the images in all that time.
