Good luck overthrowing Putin when his approval rating has been over 80% for many years. Probably even higher now.
There was a case here in Destin about 20 years back where a baby fell off about a 3rd story hotel balcony and hit the pavement and survived because the baby’s diaper exploded and cushioned the fall......................

That means the replacement would be far more intensely anti west and pro Russia and would amplify and accelerate their pursuit of victory in Ukraine.

It would cause a significant response. The Russian people would blame the west. Their paranoia is exceeded only by some conspiracy folks around here.

I’ve been hearing the exact same threats/promises to overthrow Putin for about one year now. Change is always ‘imminent’.

True that. I have noted many times previously that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a war crime and Putin is a war criminal.
However, the West certainly made it easier for him to make the decisions that he made. After the breakup of the USSR, Russia should have been seen as a possibly friendly nation. And Russia would have been a good ally against China.
But I guess NATO still needed a boogie man to keep everyone frightened. So here we are.

Excellent analysis. And I even read that Putin was SHOCKED that the Neocons drove him right into the arms of China - he asked what kind of ABSOLUTE IDIOTS are running the West. Most conservatives (people against involvement in the Ukraine War) have asked the same.
So now we have a second superpower enemy that the Neocons created, Russia. As far as China is concerned, the Neocons didn’t lift a finger to stop them from becoming an enemy superpower, but the Globalists deserve the most credit for creating them as our prime threat.
